The lamb had a nice flavor but they didn't hear it up much. They layered the lettuce on the bottom and lamb on top. There was tons of lamb but they didn't mix it up so I ended with a bunch of lettuce. The pita was thin and tore easily.I ate in storeThey served the tiziki sauce on the side and I found it a bit tart. Not my favorite gyroGood price of $10The fries were delicious!

Two stars for great customer service. I ordered the combination plate and almost threw up after taking a few bites. That night I had rice and salad for dinner. I threw away the meat. I got the doner for 2 because usually Turkish food is amazing and fresh and I wanted to have left overs. This is my personal experience. I did not react well to the quality of the meat.

Great tasting food. It had been a while since we ate here. My plate was awesome... the lamb with a tomato hot sauce. I got the hot sauce on the side because I'd never tried it before... but when it's mixed with tzatziki sauce.... phenomenal!I always get the Turkish lemonade, which has free refills... plus it tastes great with my meals. It's definitely worth a trip here, whether you eat inside or do take-out.

Went there for dinner. This is a take-out place, but they had a few tables. Food was good. Closes early.

Immediately, trying to decide whether I should give four or five stars, but I cannot think of something I don't like about this place! I have been going here since moving back to Minnesota after undergraduate in 2008. I have never had a bad sandwich here. Or bad food in general. The food is plentiful and the fries are actually really really good. They remind me of McDonald's fries. I always get number 15, the lamb and beef gyro with french fries. It comes with tomatoes and onions, and then I ask for extra tzatziki sauce ifI'm getting it to go, otherwise they give you a bottle if you're eating in. I've also had the platters, the falafel and some of my friends have had the chicken platter. All of it was delicious. Wonderful flavors, hot and plentiful, and the meat is so tender with perfect spices. Even the pita bread is nice warm, and it taste fresh. It's not too thick to overwhelm the taste of the meat and it's not too thin so you can still eat it like a pocket sandwich. Honestly, one of the things that I love the most about this restaurant is that it is so consistent with the dishes that it makes. 15 years later, and the meat taste the same as back into the day. The picture I have is for the newer location off of Highway 61 in White Bear. Set me back $9.50. I just had this yesterday, and now that I'm writing the review, I want to eat it again, even though I just finished brunch! And am full!

This place plays its role perfectly. They're a no-frills place, and they do it very well. The food is good cheap stuff. The fries are basic, but they season them well which is nice. The meat is just regular gyro loaf meat, but it's done well. The food comes out QUICK, which is what you're looking for at this type of place. And the price is just right. A great cheap weeknight spot.

Small space but food is big on freshness and taste. I would recommend to others and will go back.
