Hidden in the middle of an antique neighborhood this little restaurant has some very unique offerings that are worth going back for agin and again. This venue is very small, like a small cafe so be prepared to wait for a seat s it remains quite busy. I am sure there are a lot of regulars dedicated to this restaurant. There is a small waiting area in the back or there are few bar stools located at the bar.The menu is straight to the point, they do have a specialty urges which is very good, they do offer French fries or homemade tater tots which I prefer. They do have Caesar salads which I think are quite good to start with. They offer other selections on the menu, I prefer the burger or turkey burger which is seasoned quite well. They also have a vegetarian option.Parking is also quite limited so if you don't find a spot in the lot alongside the restaurant, park somewhere on the street. The staff are friendly and personable and from what I have found through talking to other patrons in this restaurant, there are many people whom travel from Wisconsin to the blue door pub just for their specialty. I recommend giving it a try. Cheers!

Oh look... It's March 2021 and another Blue Door Pub that is closed while dozens of restaurants located within 2 miles have been open since June 2020.I will no longer frequent restaurants that are so poor at planning and coordinating that they can't stay open... while others are able to do it!

One of the best places for burgers in the twin cities.

Great wings! Definitely need to come here if you like wings for a reasonable price. Try them all!

The Juicy or Blucy Lucys in many different varieties are the draw here. You can have them topped with pulled pork, potato chips, onions, whatever strikes your palate on a particular day. The fries are excellent also. The draft beer selection is extensive also. I highly recommended this place.

Amazing spicy cheese curds. Staff is wonderful and they adapted a wonderful system to accommodate dining in during COVID-19! Great spot!

If you’re looking for a cozy pub experience, this is the place! The Juicy Lucys (Blucys) are awesome, as are the cheese curds. Great beers on tap!

Placed an order for pickup and was very pleased with the prompt and friendly service. On Halloween, we found a handful of candies at the bottom of our bag which was a nice surprise. The flamin’ hot cheese curds, tater tots, Ol’ Wise wings, Cease and Desist burger, and sauces they came with were all delicious. I was a little disappointed by the wings since I prefer them crispier and smaller than the jumbo ones they serve, and they had forgot the seasoning on our Cajun tots, but overall Blue Door more than hits the mark on quality.

Visited here on a beautiful bike ride along the River Parkway. In the time of covid, they've done a great with outdoor seating: pleasant setup, tables well set apart, staff super awesome. Already thinking about back. We ordered 2 chix sandwiches (cluck yeah and hot mother clucker). I preferred cluck yeah. Nice and juicy, peppery w/nice touch of slaw). The hot chix sandwich wasn't hot at all, but still good. We also got their juicy lucy with blue cheese. It was good too. Regular ? also yummy. Only thing I would caution on is the lemonade. It's from the countrytime powder or crystal light cans.

Service here is very good, even when they are busy. There burgers are excellent, even Guy says so. Don't be afraid to try the one with peanut butter, it's actually very good. They also have great appetizers. It's easy to see why they are often so busy. Will definitely return again when near by.

My chicken wings were rotten and tasted like fish. Refunded my order but I feel compelled to leave a review given how absolutely disgusting this food was.

*Pre Pandemic Review*"The back" area is stuffy and right next to the bathroom making the gimmick of waiting there obnoxious. Ordered the Blucy. Was a bit too well done and not enough Bleu Cheese. All that being said when I finally got to the Bleu Cheese the flavor was phenomenal and left a lingering taste that I did not want to let go of.

Blue door is known for their burgers... but their wings are so freaking delicious, too! My favorite is the Cajun wings. The spice is just right and it's so fresh! You don't usually pair wine with wings, but I love myself a couple glasses of Moscato from this place.

Very cool place, a small pub with great wings. I like that it's not packed 24/7. They have pretty good happy hour deals too. My one criticism is that I don't think the burgers hold up as well as the wings.
