So much love for this place! can't ever leave Saint Paul now. Bread is on level with other artisan bakeries in other big cities. Batard du Nord is a personal fave.

The best bakery around without a doubt. Get a cinny spinny and a few caramel pecan rolls you will not regret. Also great sense of humor 10/10!

I'm a sucker for a good danish and by looks alone, this one passed the test. There is a wonderful crunch from the puff pastry followed by a perfect balance between the blueberries and cream cheese. Everything stands out in its own way which makes this an excellent danish! I also got a loaf of their sourdough to share with others. This was absolutely fantastic too! Their walk up to-go style of ordering is super convenient especially when everything is on display in front of a glass window. I don't think you could go wrong with whatever you end up buying here, and I wish I could've tried one of everything!

First off, incredible product. Every time i eat a brake bread pastry i tell myself its my new favorite (pumpkin danish being the most recent). Additionally, this place is run by deeply thoughtful folks. Past the incredible carbs provided, they’re always thinking about their impact on their community- both on a local and global level. Grateful to have a place like this to come to.

The cardamom spinner is definitely the highlight. Soft, a little crispy, and full of delicious spice and not too sweet. The cranberry chocolate and brownie cookies are also excellent as is the pumpkin spice bar. Highly recommended!

Beautifully baked bread and indulgent pastries.Limited hours, often a small wait in line, and take out only. Well worth it, I come almost every week.Parking: Lot on the side, parking on the street in front.

Best bakery in MN. The staff, the ethos, and the bread are top quality. I have been going here for years since it's opened and it's always a treat. The owner/baker is especially kind, thoughtful, and friendly. The perfect store.

I still dream about their homemade blueberry “pop tart” pastry. Incredible. Haven’t had a bad thing from here.

Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, but their almond scone is the best scone I’ve ever eaten! Must-try!

Small scale bakery turning out great whole grain breads and pastry. They have a walk window to order but you can also preorder online. They'll even bike their goods around and deliver to your place! That's where the name comes from, after all!The service and bread have always been fantastic. Highly recommend their épi baguette, cardamom spinner, and focaccia. No dining area so plan to eat on the little parking lot patio or take it to go.

UPDATE: Promotes division. Posting virtue signal signage isnt a virtue. Its shameful and divides. Do betterWhat's not to like? Bread is top quality. Flavors are excellent on every variety. Balanced/no sourness like some other bakeries. Impressive. Cookies are super tasty.Staff is friendly, HELPFUL.
