I use to love cafe latte consistently. I went to grab a latte and the espresso was terrible. The latte wasn’t even hot, but lukewarm if that. The taste was more like drinking milk with a splash of coffee. The person taking the order was a little unsure of themselves in how they spoke. I asked for a latte and it came out like a cappuccino. Way too much foam, literally an inch. They also only offer three kinds of milk. I’m giving it a 3 star because it’s not what it used to be to me.The space hasn’t changed and it’s still nice. It’s very open and large with lots of seating. I think it was just confusing on where to order for just a coffee. The disappointment was in the item I was consuming and service.I do love their tortes and fruit tarts. I don’t recommend the small tres lèche. It was not moist like their larger cakes.Should you go? Why not? Just try it and form your own opinion. Not a coffee place, but definitely amazing baked goods. Food items is good, but not outstanding. It’s good to meet friends because of all the options. I won’t go back for awhile unless I need a cake.Parking: none. Only street and a ramp on the other side of the street to the side of the building. Luckily street is still free with no meters.

Excellent place on Grand Ave. The cakes and soups are outstanding.
Dynamite dessert destination.Only stopped in for a post dinner dessert outing. The place was a little chaotic but service was relatively quick and courteous. The salads and pizza looked incredible - will definitely be back to try those items. But this stop we tried a single slice of the mixed berry cobbler - and wished we would have purchased an entire platter of it. This cobbler was the thing of dreams and fairytales.

The staff and cuisine were both excellent, although a 20-minute wait for a mocha, even during peak hours, is excessive.

Great selection of cakes pies and cheesecakes. Amazing stuff, if you're going to go off your diet at least make it worth it, this is the place to do it
Two good friends got me a whole Vanilla Tres Leches cake and it was the lightest, most flavorful cake I have ever had. I would highly recommend it!!!

One word: cheesecake.I come here all the time with my cousin or husband for cheesecake. It’s my all-time favorite dessert! They have great lunch options as well, including sandwiches, soups, salads, pizza, and pastas. Highly recommend for your next indulgent night!
They used to be more generous. The cake slices have gotten smaller. I guess that compensates for the price not going up. Have been going here for close to 20 years I think. Very noisy during busy hours, still a fun place to go.
