Older pizza place but definitely the best in the area with good prices & THE best Buffalo wings! Great customer service as well. Also, when you call to order and hear the " welcome to checkerboard pizza, please hold," then you'll hear a hang-up click and silence until they answer. Do not hang up! You won't regret it ?

I usually don't write reviews. But I ordered from this place and was impressed! Delivery came quick and I ordered wings, pizza and cheese bread and it was all fresh. I can tell this food is handmade with love. Better than any dominos. I will be ordering again!

pizza is tastes great. Especially the cheese they use. Some of the best pizza in saint pail for sure. Things to noteDo not buy a small or medium size pizza. For the price you pay you will be disappointed sorry the size. However on the flip size the large and Extra large is so big is more than worth the money. IF you don’t get a bunch of toppings they charge 1$ per topping and you’re already ready going to be up to $25 for a large pizza. I have to take a star off for the pricing model. Because if you get a 2 liter and a side of any kind you’re at like $40. Red Savoy down the road is cheaper and has decent sizes and great pizza I’d say that’s this places main Competition. Other things to note is atmosphere is really bad. They have been here for years and invest no money into the building both interior and exterior. It doesn’t feel clean and it’s very dark. If the pizza wasn’t so good I’d knock another star off

Pizza doesn't taste good. Even though I ordered regular crust, it still is like thin. The whole entire pizza. I like regular hand tossed pizza. Not thin, not deep dish. It has to be exact.It didn't taste good to me. To soft, need more dough and another 7-10 minutes of cooking in oven.
