It was warm and invigorating to see so many tropical foliage during the winter.

Inside this place you will escape the reality. Beautiful scenery.

Definitely more of a local/community zoo rather than a state or regional attraction but they had great exhibits, easy viewing of the animals while also giving them plenty of space to spend their time. Highly recommend donating so they can keep supporting their animals. We spent about 3 and a half hours there, might spend longer once the weather gets warmer!

Went here with a stroller for the first time and it opened my eyes to the lack of automated/ADA doors for the animal buildings. It was a bit of a struggle getting through the doors especially since a number of them are also double doors. It was also disappointing that there doesn’t appear to be a nursing area to breastfeed in. Other than these factors our zoo experience was great, just have to plan better for next time. I can imagine that I’m not the only person who has had difficulty navigating with a stroller, but also making the zoo more accessible for people with limited mobility.

Como zoo is always worth the stop, between the animals and plants be prepared to have a great time. The zoo is free but they do ask for a donation. Parking may be challenging so do plan accordingly for that.

Beautiful conservatory and great zoo experience. You can see this zoo really does their best to make sure the animals are well cared for. All the animals looked content except maybe the polar bears but I don't think that's necessarily the fault of the zoo keepers, polar bears are not easy to keep happy. The zoo keepers were very informative and took time to talk to people about the animals and their conservation efforts. All in all we had a great time! Please be sure to donate if you visit, they're doing a great charity to the community by having free admission.

I think they should charge for admission. And co. The entrance fee could make everything bigger.Everything is beautiful...only it seems to me that the mice in the area of trees and flowers should not be there...they should be eliminated.
They treat the animals so poorly. i had to leave because i felt so bad for them. the giraffe and zebra is kept in a small room where they walk in literal circles. and so are the rest of the animals. All of the indoor building are smelly and filled with litter, Como Zoo, treat these animals better.
