What a delight. This place was recommended for one of the must dos in the area and it did not disappoint. It was just after lunch and it was not crowded and quick service. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Meatballs were spot. To top it off I had it with a Fanta which I haven’t had in quite a while. Will be back!

Local to Minnesota and food is awesome. I would prefer Hoagie (signature sandwich) and deep dish pizza. This particular location is my son’s favorite and he always prefers to order penne pasta with Alfredo sauce prefers to sit at same table near window :)Vegetarian options: Pizza, hoagie, pasta and salad ?Kid-friendliness: Pasta and pizza place.. kids love it

The hoagies are A1, cheaper and 2 notches up over Subway (I won't say no to subway though). Pizza is decent and affordable especially the variety of crusts and sizes. The hoagies and cheese bread are the way to go!

Davannies on Grand Ave. is my favorite go-to, ever since it was Pontillo's! I order at least once a week. Last night, we had poor service. I called in a pick-up and was told it would be ready in 40 minutes. I don't believe they ever took my name (my fault not to remind them), but I arrived to find that my order was not submitted and I had to reorder which was inconvenient due to me watching the ball game and had hungry company waiting. They hurriedly made the pizza & garlic bread, and when I opened the box's at home, I received a sloppy mess of pizza sauce with barely melted cheese. My hoagie was a garlic sponge. Minutes later, I realized a message from my phone saying, "we're here for a delivery," but by the time I noticed, it was too late. Ever since the great Rocco (former GM) retired, the food and service have been inconsistent. As a former hospitality industry professional, I understand things fall through the cracks. The manager duty was surprised by "how calm and patient" I was. Should I have thrown a temper tantrum for results? I will be back, but if this continues, I will have to do Green Mill, which I'd rather not. Be better, gang! Hope you share this so we can avoid any repeated mistakes.

Davannis is the best place of all time if you havent been here youre missing out on the experience of a lifetime, my personal favorite food is the works deep dish, everyone needs to lock in and come to davannis and be super nice to the workers because they are all awesome I cant wait for the next time I can visit davannis (today probably)
