DeGiddios is a restaurant I had driven by several times and often looked over, bt after hearing (and reading) so many good things, I knew I had to give it a try. I went with some friends to grab some appetizers and check it out and boy were we surprised. Our hostess greeted us so warmly and walked us to a booth near the back. The restaurant is covered in televisions streaming various sports games which was fun to watch and made the overall environment feel very comfortable. We were almost immediately greeted by our waitor who started us with drinks. I simply got the lemonade, which was good but a bit sweet, before ordering the garlic cheesy bread. The service took about 7ish minutes and boy was I surprised when it came out. The portion was HUGE (a real bang for your buck) and was delicious. I should note that the breadsticks are a bit greasy, but this didn't bother me and the flavor more than made up or this. The garlic flavor was strong but not pungent and the abundance of cheese made for the perfect string pull. Everything is more than reasonably priced and I definitely recommend the appetizers at DeGiddios and am excited to go back and try more!

Love the food. We usually do take out, but when we eat in, the service and ambiance are great. I'm pleased that their house salad has more than just lettuce. It is our go-to place for Italian.

When we arrived there we were excited to be met with new Italian food. We have heard from others that it was good, however we did not have that experience. Our service from our waitress was kind and quick. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Everything went downhill from here, we ordered stuffed mushrooms and they were ice cold. Not only were they cold but they were flat with flat sausage. Not a traditional stuffed mushroom. When I called over the sever she didn't seemed surprised. She took them and warmed them up in the microwave. And then she brought them back to us half eaten. She then she took our order and less than three minutes later our food was there. Then I realized that everything was precooked. The food was ok! Really bland, nothing I would ever come back for. We ate only one stuffed mushrooms however it was still applied on our bill. Unfortunately, I will never be back.

Ordered the penne alla vodka with chicken. The flavor was okay, nothing to write home about. When the food came out to the table, my pasta was cold to the touch and they had to reheat it. The stromboli was soggy and just not that great. The dough tasted a little undercooked. For dessert, we got the tiramisu, which was delicious! We also tried the chocolate lava cake and it tasted identical to the frozen ones you can buy from the grocery store. Overall, this is a fun restaurant in a neat part of St. Paul, but there are better authentic Italian places in the twin cities.

To be completely honest this was me and my wife's 1st time coming here. A good friend recommended this place to Us so we said why not. We had the chicken and they was really good no complaints at all.. but we also got the seafood linguine and the tortellini and let me tell you, it wasn't good and it wasn't bad. I wish my linguine was a bit more salty, but it could be me. The garlic bread was not all that a bit over powering if you could ask me all In all it was a okay experience not because of the service. But the food probably won't be coming back but still had a good time there!
