Authentic Nepalese food in the Twin Cities. The reason for the average rating is the price point. The location is great, the service is friendly, the atmosphere great. The food was good, but needed seasoning if you're not able to eat spicy things.Personally, I have a very common stomach (60% of Americans) & esophagus (20% of Americans) situation that has been ignored by the food industry during the "ADD A LITTLE KICK" revolution in the American dining scene over the past few years. The failure of food professionals to deal with this hee-yooge percentage of their client base astonishes me.Everest on Grand has stepped above the crowd by offering mild versions of most of its menu items. This is wonderful. Unfortunately, though, they haven't met the other part of this industry-wide challenge, which is the requirement to make mild food flavorful, as well as less fiery. I say "requirement" because I'm talking about a unique restaraunt in a prime location in a major city. When each dinner entry costs between $17-$23, and your appetizers are $9-$10, missing that point is not really so great.Point of note: the line menu isn't the same as the on site menu, but they do still offer what's in the online version. I do recommend this restaraunt overall - just maybe try it for lunch instead of dinner.

I ordered delivery from Everest on Grand and was delighted by the food! I ordered the palak paneer and chicken tikka masala to have leftovers. The menu was marked with gluten-free options so I had no trouble ordering within my dietary restrictions (allergies). While I wish that the spice level was a little higher, the medium heat level was good. The only thing that was not exceptional was the chicken, which was a little dry. Overall, the flavors were wonderful and I look forward to ordering/eating here again!

The dishes on the menu are not expensive, but when they charge you they make extra charges. And practically the man didn't let us look at why he was charging us extra. When he saw our reaction he laughed. It was the first and last time we visited this place.

Don’t ever pick up food here if you’re a driver for a food delivery app. You’ll sit there for 45 minutes to an hour almost every time. The staff is incredibly rude, just look at the way they reply to other valid 1 star reviews. These folks are pretty stubborn, and won’t budge an inch when they receive helpful

This place is so good even though the prices are a little high I still thought the food was awesome and made really well. They have a really nice wine selection and it’s in a really decent neighborhood. The service was really awesome. I noticed someone sitting next to me, left their water bottle, and I told the server, and he immediately went outside to tell the person I was astounded by how much he cared, you could tell all these people care about their food in this restaurant

First vegan eating experience and it was very flavorful. The menus have a variety options and are clearly labeled. I ordered the Geda-gudi and Roti which were an enjoyable set. I also ordered the Ladoo for dessert which was a nice treat. I personally enjoyed the latest evening atmosphere, where it had a soothing atmosphere and was a fun date night.My partner ordered the lamb curry, didn't find it spicy enough but found it very filling.
