Great place, good food, weird vibe! The waitress or cook was off. We ordered an appetizer. Our friends ordered a different appetizer after us. Their appetizer arrived. We asked about ours. She told us it will be coming. Our food arrived and we asked again about the appetizer. She seemed confused. The appetizer never arrived and when she brought the bill she said something about never getting the appetizer. The whole exchange was weird. They should also take salads off the menu. That was not available when we were there either.

Yeah, it’s an original dive bar. No, don’t go there if you’re an easily offended wuss. Yes, they are the best coneys you will find. There is other good food on the menu, but unless you’re bored of fantastic coneys, that’s what you will eat.Just do yourself a favor and enjoy the experience and embrace the aura that George made for most to savor.

Never been there before! I walk in, these are cheering and it scared me! Almost left,I couldn't be for me!! Saw my son and husled over said they crazy!! Then they did that when people walk in and boo when they left. It's a cash only so when your at cash machine they got you again. Very interesting place that's been there forever. Not much help for people working. When we left the boos came. I Actual went in,with big smile and ? to everyone then left for the boos! It was great night.

Dogs have gone down hill. The conveys are terrible . Make the topping fresh a couple times a week at least. It's old mush with who knows how many dead flies in it.
Hands down the best place to stop for a coney dog! Love how they use the thick toast instead of a bun. Have to at least order 2! One is plenty, but 2 is the way to go! Only $4.50 per dog with cheese, you cant beat it. No one can beat the quality and taste of their made to order, hot and fresh, 1 and only Coney Dog. If you're reading this review, dont even think about just stop in grab a couple, you wont be disappointed. Cash only, so keep that in mind. They have other food options as well, cold beer, and open for lunch. Dont have to twist my arm. I'll always say lets go!"

Been eating those dogs for donkeys years and they are the very best. Love the banter between old customers and something grochy bar tenders. Read the signs and behave .Years ago I'd order three, now I savor just one, one dog and one beer. Skip the cheese on top. Takes away from the secret sauceon the dog. Great grilled buns.All dogs made to order.Parking: You have to really want a dog, so take your time looking. They are there.
