This is my go to for chicken wings for me or for a big group. The cashew chicken is a great choice too but definitely better fresh because the cashews get soggy when leftover. The other must try items are the velvet chicken soup (only place I know you can get this) and the wonton soup.

Decided not to stay. Web mentioned big buffet, saw only about 8 major items.

We’ve driven by this place a bunch of times going to Woodbury Costco and each time I’m passenger princess I see the tall Ho Ho building. Decided to finally stop in last night. The food was delicious! We ordered the firecracker beef and volcano chicken.

Chicken wings used to be the staple of HoHo. However I ordered some HoHo chicken wings to go and they had a weird chemical/soap after taste. The wings smells like they’ve been sitting in some spoiled liquid for a long time, and got dumped into grease. Unfortunately will not be ordering their chicken wings to go anymore.

Terrific flavor. Very small buffet. $15 lunch on Saturday. The Vegetable Beef (with Broccoli) had amazing flavor and was my favorite. The Hot Hot Chicken was spicy and also had an amazing flavor. The wings were great as was the fried rice. I didn't care for any of the breaded type dishes including the General Tao's or Sweet and Sour Chicken. I'm my opinion too much batter and too sweet.I liked the bright seating area in the front inside. They were generally pretty busy and at times had trouble keeping the buffet stocked. Food did seem fresh.

Best chicken wings in St. Paul. I haven't tried everything on the menu because it's quite vast but a perfect dinner spot for Chinese cuisine.

The food was great but a small selection on the buffet. The waitress took a while to get our drink order and then for refills. The restaurant was busy and loud.

Food good but workers don't know how to pack your food in a box when you order a party tray. They smiled and shrugged their shoulders when I asked for a box.
Years ago, my family would dine here for special occasions. We haven't been to HoHo's for a while, so my family reserved for my father's birthday. We were happy to know they were willing to accommodate about 20 of us (adults & children). The food seemed very salty to our likings, and did not taste as well as we remembered it. We had the typical Chinese American dishes ordered - orange chicken, lo mein, chicken wings, etc.Initially, the staff was very polite. They even brought a knife and plates for us to cut the cake for my father. The mood and atmosphere immediately changed at the end when my sister asked them to split the bill...I don't think most people are able to pay for a total bill of 20 people. The staff spoke in their native language, however, you can tell the waitress was angry by constantly shouting to her coworker and also mentioning ''TIP''. She kept going to the back kitchen, and out to the front slamming the door. It scared my nieces and my nephew, and even the other customers seemed concerned. We still tipped at the end, combined at least $100. I really was disappointed at how it ended for us to celebrate my father's birthday. The food is not enough for us to come back unfortunately, and especially not with that customer service we received at the end of our meal.
