This review is specifically for the closed Eden Prairie, MN location. After the restaurant was closed it was not taken care of and there is loose trash everywhere. It is literally a dump and is disgusting. This is not how you close down a location.

We went to the maplewood location on Valentine's day and ordered the chicken kebabs that when we got there you could not use your card only cash and they were out of everything bad planning on holiday. So when our chicken came my kebabs were raw and bloody inside my friends chicken was and pink uncooked. I was sick with pains all night due to this not taking care of food with caution not to mention they did not have silverware and when we asked they had attitude

Hi, my name is Savannah I used to work at Jakes city grill maplewood location. And my problem with them is that they don't pay their employees on time. They give out checks that they know will be bounced which is illegal. And when I asked the Manger Jordon what was going on he said "it's a hard time for the business" also he wouldn't let me speak to a higher up person because "I'm going to get the same outcome" I worked hard for that company And they think it's normal or okay to do that. Their is 16 years old working their do you think they will know what is going on when their check is bounced? It seems to me they are using people and they are getting away with it.

The upside was that the food was great and staff was very accommodating. The waitress, Christina, was superb in her service to us. She was patient and kind in dealing with such a large group and she made outstanding recommendations or adjustments for dietary needs. The restaurant was clean and menu choices were many & varied.

I admire this place! They have first-rate meals, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that place is very experienced, I love a lot eating all their food. The food is always tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is friendly. I often go to this place and I was never discontended. I highly recommend it.

Took my wife son (20) and his girlfriend here after church and we had a great meal and a great experience. The salads were huge and the brunch buffett was outstanding with great variety. Best advise, come hungry.

My wife and I stopped in to have dinner to celebrate the end of my chemotherapy treatments. We waited for 10 minutes at the un staffed hostess desk. The restaurant was pretty much empty. They also did away with the all you can eat crab on Tuesdays. The last time we did the all you can eat crab we waited almost an hour before the server came out with any food we had our 4 kids with us and were celebrating our 10 year anniversary. We watched a tanle of 10 who sat down after us get crab right away and continue to get more brought out to them over and over again not once did they tell us that they were running low. At this point we they have lost us as a customer.

Sunday buffet a year ago was good. This time I had pasta and shrimp. Very good. My wife had some kind of steak. It easy good but lonely. Not much food and over priced. Guy next to us had pizza. Said very good. Always gets it. Nice atmosphere and good service. Friday night and very busy

They serve a hearty appetizer, thankfully we shared an appetizer and the BBQ Pizza Delicious, more than enough food for two! Service was great! Had lots of laughs and fun and it was just a comfortable setting, Thank you Jake's!

Jake's City Grill has some of the best steaks/Prime Rib I've experienced! Staff is always very friendly and accommodating, the rewards program is confusing but has saved me probably $50 so far over a year. TVs available for viewing sports, and a nice bar/local beer selection! Go check it out for yourselves!
