I read the reviews and tried it out! It wasn't the worst food I have had but not the best. The batter of the walleye tasted sweet and the mango salsa didn't taste fresh. I'm really hoping this was just a one time issue based on the reviews. Not sure I would return I don't think it's worth what I paid but again this is my experience.

Retro inside. Great service. I'll be back often! My walleye and chips were delish! I'm picky about my Cole Slaw and next time I'm getting EXTRA. Very YUM. 10/10Parking was easy at 7:30 p.m. but not always true. Worth the hassle.

Hadn't been to this place for years. So glad I stopped in. Delicious!
I walk in and stood at the counter. Two women are cooking. I was ignored for at least a full five or six minutes. One of them finally shouted something rude at me. I left. Mac's Fish & Chips in south Minneapolis is terrific! My experiences with this location on Lexington & Larpenter have always been problematic.

This place is a hidden gem! Some of the best shrimp tacos I've had! I also liked their coleslaw! The staff were so nice and friendly! There hasn't much room to sit, but it's worth the trip. You can get takeout there, too! Love this place!!!!!

Stopped here for work and got two mahi tacos. They were freaking amazing. I wasn't a huge fan of the toasted tortilla shell because I prefer my tortillas to be soft but that didn't take away from the amazing fish and sauce that they used for these tacos.Nom nom nom nom.

They no longer sell their salt water taffy (just came back after being away for 6 years), but their food is still bomb and it’s still a mom and pop classic eatery that’s a must if you live here!

I ordered the walleye basket for takeout. They completed the order in about 10 minutes, and everything was pretty good. A little light on seasoning for my taste, but the fish and fries were both fresh and crispy.
