The experience at this restaurant was nothing short of amazing. We had never had Korean food and they were helpful with recommendations. After a long time deciding, we had the kimbap, bulgogi, and gal bi. All of them were delicious and so flavorful. They gave us sides of daikon radish, kimchi, and cucumber salad and even gave us more when we had ran out.I will be coming back again! The service was phenomenal and I'm excited to try something new next time!

Came in for a bite while on tour with my band. It was cold out so I ordered the spicy short rib soup. The soup was pretty bland and smelled like the roasted bones and nothing else. The short ribs didnt have much meat on them, were very tough and lacked any real flavor. Our server was very accommodating and brought me a different soup. The broth was the same but at least the dumplings and rice cakes were edible. I wouldn’t recommend getting anything with broth here. I don’t know too much about Korean food specifically but I know how to make a good broth. This didn’t have any aromatics or really anything besides roasted bones and salt.

Mirror of Korea is a great Korean spot on Snelling in St. Paul. Their menu is worth reading through with a lot of delicious entrees, which are served with a number of sides. This restaurant makes for a good cheap date location, too.
I will say the meal tasted fine and the person taking my order was really nice. Uneaten from pic provided. Onion, carrot, zucchini, 2 pieces of broccoli and some low quality squid? Years ago you had the classic "steak" pieces crosscut along with. This is the type of squid is typically used for cold salads.This looks like a $10 lunch special, not an $18 dinner entree. Can't be the same owners from back a while.
