May have been the night we came in but the service was really poor. Took very long to just order, then once we ordered food came out random. We actually got our overpriced chips and salsa last after we got the food. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Great atmosphere though!

Staff: AEnvironment: D (deer head on wall is disturbing, why is that a thing?)Food: F (1 vegan option and maybe 1 vegetarian option?) please add moreI want to support this local business and see it do well, would love to go back but not if I have to get the same 1 option every time. It's on west 7th and has a cute outdoor seating area as well. Staff was very attentive, friendly and kind. It was the server who suggested an alternative sauce to make this a vegan option. Thank you.*response to the owners comment: in a major metropolitan area, vegan and vegetarian options are offered on the menus of many successful restaurants, there IS a demand and they're successful and remain in business because they understand this and grow to meet the needs of their customers. I did look at the menu, when I ate there (and overpaid for a potato and mushroom taco), unless it's expected to order a few side items and piece together a meal...Curious how its an enjoyment of nature to take the life of a deer, cut off his head and mount it on a wall where people eat. What kind of messed up reality is that? It's disturbing and gross.Good luck with your business model, it's unfocused and really more egocentric about you than your broader audience.Parking: There is a lot, but like most lots it's not very big and feel lucky if you find a spot. Lots of street parking but due to the way the streets converge, you'll have a walk a little ways away.

I went here on a Sunday night with my wife and two kids 7 and 11. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. The prices were reasonable or to be expected. We had shrimp tacos, birria tacos and a chicken taco from the kids menu. The birria was super filling. We had also ordered chips and salsa and guacamole to start. The portions vs the price were not crazy but nonetheless reasonable and we could hardly finish everything anyway. I would just suggest maybe 2 or 3 adults per chips salsa or guacamole order. We also loved the drink selections, alcohol drinks seemed very appealing and a great selection but surprisingly many delicious non alcoholic drinks that we were very happy to try. We also ordered dessert which was excellent, the key lime cheesecake I believe? And the bread pudding with apple. Everything was perfect and I would really like to thank our server and wish her a happy birthday today.

WOW, what an amazing experience for my partner and I. We were celebrating a special occasion and the Head Chef, Ross and team took great care of us. The food was delicious and of good quality and freshness. We will go back there again. Salute, Odell 'Big O' Brown

This is one of my go to spots. The head chef is phenomenal! He comes out and checks on customers. You can tell he cares about what is getting sent out, so the food is on point. The staff are friendly and the drinks are delicious. This is a MUST try!

What a yummy meal! We loved the flavors and ordered more than what we could eat! That meant a lovely continuation of the meal the next day ?Keely took very good care of us and made a wonderful recommendation about the Brussels sprouts. They were delish in every bite.

If you’re a white yuppie that doesn’t know what Mexican food is let alone flavor, you’ll love this place.Bland, and pedestrian at best. Everything came out cold, and lacking any flavor or spice at all, drinks were missing key ingredients, everything had a strong artificial liquid smoke taste to it. Insanely over priced.Another red flag was the gringo head chef who looked like his definition of Mexican food is a lot of Taco Bell.I see the owner says they do their own thing and defending the food which is pathetic.I guess that’s their way of saying we don’t know what the hell we are doing. The tell tale sign should have been both their locations.

Excellent food and good portions! The place is like a refined Mexican bistro that sells slightly upscale food but still within budget, and the menu was just the right size to not allow fear of choice, and that worked very well in my favor as I knew exactly what I wanted upon seeing it!I would highly recommend the birria tacos because one just can't go wrong it, along with the chilaquiles and the shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos had mango pico de gallo along with honey-chipotle aioli which normally wouldn't be there, but honestly they worked very well with crispy fried shrimp! The chilaquiles was, to me, an elevated version of the chicken tinga tacos because both contained chipotle chicken and cotija cheese, but the fried egg on the chilaquiles just made the dish savory in flavor and runny in texture that elevated the whole experience, while the chicken tinga tacos had avocado-serrano salsa which was commonly seen and would work great for the traditionalists! The smoked salmon tostada was great as well, only that $16 was a bit much for the portion given that it was salmon.I would definitely recommend anyone that wanted some refined Mexican food to give Pajarito a shot! They have shorter hours on Mondays and Tuesdays and typically close earlier than other taco spots, but still a great place for friends to hang out and catch up over some bomb food!

This place never disappoints. Love the manager, Jen, she helped above and beyond. Kenyatta went above and beyond as our bartender. We felt like we were always taken care of from beginning to end. And THE FOOD is always amazing! ❤️

Happy Hour bartender drinks were on point! Quesadillas were good. BBQ Wings large but only three, yet better than fried wings. Sautéed Brussel sprouts over spiced and greasy. The best part were the driks!Wheelchair accessibility: Front Entry door too heavy for someone with mobility issues.

The food was delicious with complex flavors and seasonings. The cocktails were well balanced and fun for the palette. Will be going back to try other menu items!

Atmosphere was great, had the chips and salsa and guacamole and chicken tinga tacos pictured. Birria tacos on the menu as well that looked delightful so will definitely be back for those. Was happy to see an N.A. list for drinks with several mocktails and sipped on a guava spritzer. Would be open to giving it a 5 next time once I get different salsas with chips and the birria.

Went here for birria tacos while we were in St. Paul. They were unfortunately loaded and fried with an EXTRA large amount of cheese, while the beef was dry and bland. Go elsewhere for birria tacos.
