Went out for a late night bite and drink to this place, pretty much your typical dive/sports bar the menu was very limited after 10:00 p.m. and a margarita that I had and a drink menu in general was okay but nothing to write home about? Pretty average all in all. Also they did not even have a simple burger and fries available on their late night menu as well?

Pillbox is so accommodating. I am a vegan, and I typically order the Walleye Tacos sub the impossible burger, and it is phenomenal! Their regular impossible burger is also good. I've heard only good things about the rest of the menu as well. Their chef is always coming up with new ideas and improvements.I run a group home and bring my residents in here frequently. Staff members go out of their way to make this a special place for all persons-served. Pillbox has the best service in town.

I went to Pillbox with a larger group for a birthday festivity on a Saturday evening. We were paying after each round of drinks, so we did not have an open tab; however the waitstaff would periodically stop by the table to check in. Google shows Pillbox open until 1 am; however, just before midnight on Saturday, the staff opened all doors/windows to make it unpleasantly cold for guests and then started repeatedly yelling to “get out” to all patrons left in the restaurant. Since the open hours on Google state open until 1 am, we were confused. Not sure if this is standard for the Pillbox, but it was an unpleasant end to our evening there. If someone would have just let us know the bar was closing earlier that night, this would not have been problematic for our group.

Everything "looked" good, but didn't taste good.We headed to the Pillbox for some snacks and drinks before a show, and was not impressed with the food. It tasted weird and i can't put my finger on why. The nachos had a sweet flavor and the beef tasted odd. The deviled eggs were spicy with maybe a dill flavor. And the cheese curds were good, no complaints with the curds. All in all, if you are looking for a place to stop before a show, the Pillbox Tavern will suffice, but i would not recommend the nachos or the deviled eggs.The signature drinks were tasty.

Very clean, great service, no long waiting period though we went early in the day. Burger was good. Not impressed with the fries, they could be better quality for the price. All in all was OK for our lunch date.

Food was incredibly bland. Service was great and the vibe was good but I got a chicken sandwich and it was just not flavourful at all and quite disappointing. It was just like plain shredded chicken and mashed up avocado on some toast. My friend also had a burger and there was a paper separator in his burger, from when the meat patties are prepared and stacked before cooking... pretty gross.
