We love skinner’s! The food is always excellent and we always love supporting locally owned businesses. Lately it has been incredibly difficult to get a table and even pick up orders are taking an hour which makes it difficult with kids (this is placing orders prior to 5pm so even on weekends an hour wait for takeout at that time is excessive and I spent 10 years as a server at popular pizza restaurant in Duluth and understand rush times). Again love supporting local businesses but skinner’s seems to be thriving beyond their space and we will be looking to spread our business around, while still ordering from skinner’s from time to time.

If you love a good Minnesota style pizza, this is the place for you! It's a fun neighborhood spot, nothing fancy, but the food is awesome, the staff fun and the value is great. You don't need to go to those expensive Minneapolis "artisan pizza" places to get the best, it's right here under your nose.

First visit to Skinners Pub after friends who grew up in the neighborhood kept talking about the place. It was terrific on many levels. I had heard about their Chili and walleye sandwich. I ordered some chili to go, but when the waitress heard that I never had it before, she was kind enough to give me a sample. It was indeed yummy. My main course was the walleye sandwich. It was lightly breaded and fried; so much better than those restaurants serving heavily battered fish. It is a local dive bar in the best sense of the word. Our waitress truly anticipated our needs, I'd swear she had eyes in the back of her head! We saw teamwork from the staff who seemed to get along really well. They sure made me welcome and wanting to return.
Best pizza there is. Flat crust. Double cheese. Spicy delicious red sauce. This is it! Steak dinner is a killer! Steak salad too. Dinner for two ! Get the onion rings!! I give it five stars. Anyone who doesn’t is CUCKOO!Kid-friendliness: This is a family place!
Robin our server was amazing and the food, drinks, & happy hour specials were perfect! $1 ham beers and the best pizza and WINGS in town and a whole pizza tray full of nachos. robin made sure we had fresh plates and silverware throughout and brought plenty of napkins. 10/10 food and service.

I love skinners. I have had some issues but not enough to complain about. I eat there at least once a week. Saturday's they have a taco special. I think it is $2 for a taco, but it is from like 11am to 1 or 2 pm, and that is too early for me for tacos, but it is a great deal. The tacos are very good!! Pizzas are awesome!!

Well. I did like this place alot. But new owner or something. The pizza sucks, and has no flavor.the owner Molly was very rude to my family , we are Never. Going her agin , lost our business, we had partys here in the past. But Molly's was so rude. And the. Saide they can't Comedate to us. Where it was not a problem in the past. But Molly wanted us to get food form her anyways. Nope! If your gonna be rude we don't want the food. So if u wanna party here. This isn't the place. Before I'd come here since I was a teen. But it changed. Alot. And the new owners. No. I'll be telling friends and family not to go here.

My husband and I stopped at Skinners to eat. We sat down at the bar to have a drink first. I think the bartender's name was John and he was very friendly and super funny with his dry sense of humor. We were having so much fun talking with the bartender that we didn't bother moving to a table and ate at the bar. Great food! Awesome bartender! Wonderful time! We will be back.
