I guess many years ago I gave you guys a five-star review.. however since the pandemic you guys stay closed for almost 2 years plus you can only go through the drive-thru in which sometimes the line was extremely long.. the pandemic was long gone and that was still the excuse for not opening the lobby! I have had complications with both managers at this establishment one night I was given a old chicken sandwich I had ordered the combo and upon pulling off I open my food up to bite my sandwich because I was hungry and saying that it was nowhere near fresh... But the drive-thru line was so long and it was an hour and a half before closing so I just figured to take it home and take it back the next day I ate a few of the fries and when I say a few I literally mean maybe about 10 fries out of let's say 25 fries.. I didn't drink any of the soda nor did I eat the chicken sandwich at all. The next day I pull up to the drive-thru again to bring it back and the manager gave me such a problem saying he will make the chicken sandwich over again but he won't be giving me any more fries because I ate some of them. And I'm like I shouldn't have had to even come back..do you know the cost of gas to come back here to present food to you that was given to me that was not at all fresh! However he was solid or just making my chicken sandwich and drink so I said that I wouldn't come here anymore because of the way the manager had treated me. But against my better judgment one night my kids were in town we decided to go here.. before I even pull out the drive-thru away from the window I opened the box and look at my phone and see that my 8 piece is old I asked can they make me fresh chicken and I was willing to wait and she said that her employee had told me that the chicken was not fresh... I told her that is not true she argued with me back and forth and I asked for my money back she told me she was not giving me any money back so after a slight altercation she snatches the chicken for me and since my money down on the counter for me to reach and get it. I tried to look for corporates information only to find out that no one is ever able to file a complaint because the numbers are non-existent and there are so many complaints with this company that people leave on the BBB site because they can't get in touch with anyone to solve a problem.. needless to say.... I guess I'm not loving that chicken from Popeyes any longer

I've been to a few locations and this one by far is my worst rated. They lack in customer service and always give tiny pieces of chicken .what really angers me is they never want to give honey packets! Make sure you are ready to pay for them . Even with my meal they didn't give them I had to pay ! Absolutely ridiculous then the damn biscuits looked like they were dropped on the floor ! I'm definitely placing an online complaint.

Came in spent 50 dollars on wings all the drums were completely raw. I go in the next day with my receipt and leftover chicken and bloddy bones the manger whos name was claudia told me she would not refund me that im obviously not sick from eating them I told her i was calling corporate and i would not return she said she did not care and corporate never does anything and to go ahead and call.I am a General Manager myself and would never ever treat a customer that way! She was so rude and the manager i spoke to that morning told me to bring in what food i had and the receipt and they would refund me well she did not refund me and also the night i went to get my food claudia was there on her phone while cooking food. She sits her phone down does not wash her hands and continues cooking definitely will never go back and recommend no one goes here!

The chicken wings were really good. We ordered three different sauces. They were good about splitting the two orders in half, half drummies and half wings but then I opened the third box and it had all drummies! This order was a double order so we ended up with 12 drummies. I think they should make sure to evenly split all their orders for wings in half. Otherwise, we had no complaints. We will order from them again in the future.

We love Popeye's. The chicken and biscuits are so good. We were very excited about this new location in Oak Park Heights. The service was great, but this is a very tiny store. There is hardly any sitting room, so if there is like more than Iike 6 people in there eating, depending on where they sit, you are going to have to get your food to go, and that is why I gave an overall 4 stars, with atmosphere having only 3 stars, but the food and service both get 5 stars.
