First trip to Little Canada's Porterhouse, and I can say it was perfect. The drinks on point, the appetizers prefect, and the main course of steaks and king crab legs was also perfect. Dessert was also delicious and a great way to cap off a fantastic meal.We've long eaten at the Lakeville location, ( which is close to our house) which has always been excellent, best place in Lakeville to eat, and it's not surprising, but this location held the same exact standards of excellence.Out with a good friend tonight so we skipped pictures.

I booked our reservations online weeks in advance, and noted it was a special occasion (a birthday). For 'reasons', we booked an early dinner at 4:45 pm on a Saturday. We arrived five minutes early, and were shown to what I think may be the smallest table/booth I've ever seen (all the booths were this size), it was next to the kitchen. My husband is fairly tall with a large frame, but has never had an issue with booths - we are not huge people! We checked the menu prior to arriving, and estimated the dinner would cost around $200+, so sitting at a kids-size table was not what we had in mind. Since our host had just pointed to our table and left immediately, we asked a passing server if we could be seated elsewhere. She was polite, but said we would have to talk to the host. We returned to the host stand, explained our issue, asked to be seated somewhere else. He glanced at his reservations, said there was nowhere else to put us, and told us we could sit at the bar. To say he appeared completely disinterested would be an understatement. I have been told and read reviews online that if you sit at the bar, you are literally shoulder-to-shoulder with others. We said 'no thank you' and left.Could we have kept the booth and tried to make the best of it? Yes. But why spend that much money being packed like a sardine, when you have all the dining options we have in the metro?I'm taking the time to write this, because it appears if your group is only two people, you will be stuck at the micro-booths. I don't know if they have a coat check, but if not, don't wear a coat, you won't have room. Ladies, carry your smallest purse!I know my complaint may seem trivial to some, but it was my husband's birthday, we had been looking forward to it, and it was a waste of time. I also would hate for someone to arrive for dinner and not fit comfortably in their booths; I can't imagine how embarrassing that would be.K. Winter

Loved our server, loved the atmosphere and the birthday cake was amazing! The rest of the food was fairly good. Pretty dang good for a family outing but not worth the price in our opinion.
Went for my anniversary, the food was very good (I got the black and bleu ribeye), and they have a fantastic drink selection. The food came out very quick and our waitress was super nice and polite. I will be coming back
Service was outstanding. Food was great for 3 out of 4 people. On on the 1 meal the filet was average at best. The noise was also very loud. Dined here many times and had an outstanding experience. Unfortunately not this time

It seems like because we didn't order an alcoholic beverage our server was very inattentive .i had to ask what the specials were but i heard her telling other tables what they were. My husband ordered his steak med well and when it arrived it was very well done tough and dry . The server never returned to our table to ask us if everything was ok and so I explained to her it was uneatable. She offered to have it remade but by the time she returned I had finished my entree. The manager did remove it from our bill but we are very unhappy with the service. When we were seated I told our server we were celebrating our birthdays and it was like ok. After dinner I had to ask if they did anything for birthdays. We were at Porter House Lakeville in February and we loved it the service was awesome the food delicious and so we thought we'd try Little Canada we will not be back.

It seemed like our waitress Sara couldn't wait to get us out of there. She commented on the dinner rush starting as we were sitting down. She didn't ask if we wanted a cocktail before we ordered food. We ordered wine with our meal. She forgot to bring my husbands until he reminded her and she brought it halfway through his meal. She had to be reminded to bring mine as well and she brought it when we were done eating. We normally have after dinner drinks and that wasn't offered before she brought the check. It was my husbands birthday (Leap Day!) and it was mentioned three times but she forgot so she put his cake in a to go box. My steak was too raw for me to eat (she never once asked me how it was; we barely saw her) but I'm sure it will be good when I reheat it. Lobster and mashed potatoes were worth the trip though!
