2024.04.20.Stopped by this weekend for brunch. Not sure how they are making it here as the place is pretty empty for brunch.Went with the chicken chilaquiles this time, hadn't had it before. Doll had the classic with a johnny cake on the side. I was surprised by how tender the chicken in the chilaquiles was, not dried out day old chicken. Perfect ancho seasoning with cotija cheese. Crispy chips and two eggs, really good. Doll loved her classic brunch and the johnny cake.Thank you Mr. Boemer, for your time today. Colleen and I enjoyed chatting with you. You have created a wonderful chain of restaurants and we enjoy visiting them. Today we came in for brunch, doll requested the BLTE as it was no longer on the menu, they obliged! I went for the brisket, potatoes and an egg. Both very tasty. The only thing I would say is that the brisket was slightly dry and chewy. Tasted great. And I appreciate that you took a few minutes to chat with us.

Our favorite spot for Sunday brunch. We love the chicken and waffles (regular and spicy) and the fries. Yummy cocktails. Great atmosphere and we enjoy the music. We never have to wait for a table.

Overpriced and not very flavorful. When you think of soul food you think of flavor but the Mac and cheese was so bland. On top of that, their chicken tenders are not “tenders” but more like whole chicken pieces—theyre huge which isn’t as appetizing to me, since it felt like there wasn’t a good meat to breading ratio. Overall disappointed and don’t wanna try it again. My partner got shrimp and grits which had more flavor but still could have used more

While I love the food and service, the cleanliness of this spot is so subpar. Like I was almost disgusted. It was early in the day (and no foot traffic), and it was obvious the floor wasn't cleaned (like for days). And I'm not saying just dirt and sand, etc. It was like layers of dirt from not being cleaned. And I know they have old flooring, I've been coming here since 2017. Please do something with your cleanliness. I don't even want to go into the bathroom issue. I may not come back here if it continues to look like a junkyard.

What happened to our beloved Revival?! It’s not the place I once knew and loved…inside needs a revival. The space is dirty, beat up (dirty walls, chipped paint and plaster, cheap and messy looking storage). The ambiance was all off - the lighting over the bar reminded me of 3pm at MSP (dim it down!). The service was slow - we sat at the bar and only one bartender was working, with no bartender (and a concert at the Xcel was going on that night!). The food was decent, but not excellent (burger was small, mustard slaw wasn’t fresh, Tennessee hot fries were over-dressed). But the weirdest part was this marTINI. This photo was taken right as it was served to me. I finished it in 3 sips. I was shocked the bartender thought this was appropriate.

We have been to the Mpls and The St Paul locations. Both were excellent. Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Fantastic service. I have always been a huge fan of Nashville Hot Chicken. I've been to Tennessee numerous times and Revivals Fried Chicken rivals anything I've ever had in the south. I would also add the Belgian waffle is the best I've ever had.

When I tell you these were the best chicken and waffles I ever had BELIEVE ME. So good the fried chicken was so crispy and flavorful and the waffles amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Every now and then I get the hankering for broasted chicken and this is the place to go. The sides are very good and during the fair weather, the outside patio is the place to be.
