Tavern on Grand is the best Neighborhood bar on Grand Ave. The Staff are amazing. I will miss this place. P.S. To all the haters FU

We enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends here - very old school. The seating and ambiance is not high end, but does not need to be upscale - we're here for the fish! The walleye dishes (three different preparations and deep fried nuggets) were all excellent. The portions are filling. If you are a walleye lover, get here before they shutter the place in June. How very sad.

From the friendly service to the outstanding walleye filets. You must try this great place.

This was our first time in here. We wanted to visit be/4 they close it down (closing this summer) and boy are we glad we did. The walleye and fries basket (all 5 of us ordered) was off the chain!!! Tasty and filing we couldn't eat all of it. Only missing a side of coleslaw. The wait staff from kitchen, the waitress everybody was so nice and accommodating. I think it cost $17-20.Will be back b4 closing, loved it!!

Going in, we were patient knowing that the industry is still hurting. We ended up waiting over an hour. We never even got salads. Half orders. Felt like they put bbq sauce on everything to mask the lack of flavor. Only to still get upset stomachs. When we went to complain, the manager was at a table hanging out with friends while her staff were stressing. Then she got an attitude when we complained. None of us finished our meals... we left very upset.

First time and unfortunately closing soon. Delicious walleye and interesting menu, but overextended staff were struggling to serve. The rooms are uncomfortably loud.

Hi from Iowa. The service was fast, even on a busy night. Great menu with some creative dishes that I haven't seen other places. Good small town tavern feel. Would definitely go again!

Had the walleye special dinner blackened , so good. I opted for the clam chowder instead of a potato option. The Caesar salad was outstanding dnd i finished it up with the bread pudding.

The only downside is that they're closing in June! Always delicious food and great service. Will be sad to see them close.Parking: There is a parking lot behind the restaurant access through the alley. Some spots are not available until the hardware store. Next door closes after 6:00 p.m.

Tried the fish today, full of crazy amounts of bones. Terrible and my son was frustrated too. At over $30 a plate, u could at least fillet it so it's edible. Don't bother with this place, definitely not the best fish in MN
