Best Vietnamese food in my opinion in St Paul. For sure I will be back. It’s what some people would call a “dive” but I’m here for the food. Not for a photo shoot. Pic is the Mike’s rice platter special. Chinese sausage is like sweeter chorizo. My go to is usually either pho or vermicelli salads but a lot of people have probably commented on those dishes. Will try next time I am in the area.

Pho was great! However, the service was just awful! Every person including myself that arrived to dine in was left waiting without so much as a hello for over five minutes. I didn't see one customer not look frustrated before being sat down. Bummer because the food was really good!

Great pho broth. Great vegetarian broth. Generous portion of fixings. Good egg rolls. The restaurant is a classic little hole in the wall Vietnamese place so set your expectations for dated diner decor but come for the food.

Check Point

I love the pho and bun bo hue but found a hair on our chicken wings and price for gratuity are $20 added if you have more than two people. Ordered grilled pork ban mi sandwich to go but got a regular one instead and the vermicelli bun dac biet with grilled pork are too dried and salty. Service is slow sometimes.

We enjoyed the pho, cream cheese puffs and eggroll and pork meatball noodle salad. Very large portions and good. Other Asian people here eating- that’s always a sign of an authentic restaurant.

I like their Bun Bo Hue, but they messed up my Uber Eats order two times in a row. ? Ordered two dishes each time and only got one right. I got completely different items for the second dish. Not sure what’s going on….

Foods was delicious; especially, the special pho. Had been coming here for 15 years plus now for pho. But whenever they have that one older lady working as waitress; she would not stop talking and it just felt like she’s harassing customers. Won’t be back eating here for a while.

I ordered the special fried rice and spring rolls - both were excellent. Service was very friendly and fast. Will go back!
