I went here in 2018 and I miss it dearly. I dream about coming here and eating. It's strange. Please open it to the public again!

We received Dining in the Dark tickets from our kids for Christmas. Both the staff and food were excellent. Fun outing!

The most amazing cocktail bar in Saint Paul! Beautiful architecture and decor. Can’t wait for this gem to open up again!

If your looking for a classy establishment, this is the place for you. I can see this being a favorite stop for those old souls as well. I made reservations but upon arriving the host and hostess seemed a bit off when it came to getting me to my table. They did an excellent job of restoring this place, the music and decor makes for the perfect ambiance, it's ideal for a more intimate occasion or get together with friends. I loved the variety of seating arrangements and the bar itself is fantastic.I started with a glass of wine and the artisan cheese plate which was a perfect match. I went with the filet Mignon, potato puree and green beans with Bearnaise sauce on the side. The steak was cooked just as I requested and seasoned very well, the potato puree and green beans were prepared with full flavor as well. I ended my meal with the triple chocolate semifreddo and espresso which was an excellent end to my dinner.

The Commodore was a classic hotel, now restaurant, beautifully redone into an energetic and inviting destination. The ambiance, food, and beverages were all excellent. The service was a bit slow, but the wait was worth it compared to the quality of the rest of the experience. Lovely evening in a unique setting.

I'd like to leave a 4.5 star review but it's closer to 5 than 4. The ambiance is great. They were playing an old movie on a huge screen in the other room - that was really neat! We waited awhile for a drink at the bar before being seated, I thought they should have had another bartender on staff. The servers were great - friendly and prompt. My steak was overcooked but the red wine sauce made up for it. Overall a great experience!

CLOSED FOR GOOD? OR JUST TEMPORARILY CLOSED ? Not updated on Google, but on their voice-mail. I have so many things that I love about St. Paul. But, this establishment is by far my favorite.

Wow! Like stepping into an elegant dream. I don't normally like lobster, but I could down those lobster deviled eggs all day! Be sure to order a Fitzgerald and plan on spending some time here just taking it all in.

I’ve made a terrible mistake. For the life of me I am not sure why this place was not on my radar sooner, but my wife suggested it for our anniversary dinner. After reviewing the menu and pics we gladly made the reservation.

The staff, atmosphere and food here are outstanding. Possibly the best New York strip steak we've ever had (and we've had a lot!) And the smoked butter and Parker rolls were heavenly.
