The vegan ramen was super good, but the service was a bit lacking.

To start, I loved the design of this restaurant. It is located in an old train car, super cool, this drew me in already. We were seated pretty quickly and it wasn't too busy, I know they can get busy so we were lucky. And they also had a happy hour menu from 5 to 630 Mon thru Friday, but closed Tuesdays. We tried the egg and rice, Korean cucumbers for an app. The ramens we tried were the Miso ramen and the Salted duck ramen. I tried the house made blueberry lemonade and we did try a cocktail too but can't recall the name.Egg and rice- exactly want it sounds like. It was a poached egg over rice with some veggies. I am glad I tried it but I probably won't get it again.Korean cucumbers- always a must have, so good.Miso ramen- a plus is when they give you the whole egg instead of half there was a nice smoky flavor I think it was the chicken, which still had the skin on and wow, chefs kiss. I liked that they incorporated this. There was corn and bok choy. I thought the ramen was a little sweet and needed a little spice to level it out. So we ordered the house made chilli oil and this was the final touch.Salted duck ramen- I really enjoyed the broth flavors and the duck was cooked perfectly. It looked amazing and my husband really enjoyed it.Final thoughts, I want to try all the other ramen that they have. And we will be going back. The service was great and the drinks were well made.

Absolutely fantastic Ramen. Menu is small, but stellar! I've tried a lot of places for Ramen and nothing compares. Salted Duck is my fave, but the Dra-min is a close second.

I drove past this place for a year or so having no idea what it was. Frankly, from the outside, it didn't look like much, so I never went in. That turned out to be a mistake.Relatively recently I found out it was a ramen spot, and the West Seventh neighborhood, to my knowledge, doesn't have a ton of ramen or pho shops.I immediately decided to give it a try, and am glad I did. I got the salted duck ramen with chili crunch, and the flavor was insanely good. The chili crunch came on the side so I could control my own heat, and it was incredible. It made my mouth tingle, and was the perfect level of spice.I also tried one of the inherently hot dishes (chili oil not on the side but cooked in), and it wasn't Minnesota hot, but actually hot. Amazingly delicious, and awesome heat. Basically, I think that regardless of your preferred heat level, this place can deliver. The vibe in the place is very relaxing, unique, and cozy. It's sort of dark and mysterious, and I mean that in the best way possible. It's essentially an old train car with an addition, windows looking out at 7th street, and nice plants all over. You really step out of Minnesota and into another world the moment you walk in, and I mean that in the best way possible. There are lots of little nooks and crannies to grab a table in, or if you sit at the bar you can watch the cooks in the kitchen. My bartender was great, and served up one of the best Old Fashioneds I've had in recent memory. He finished it by lighting the top on fire quickly, giving it an excellent, smokey taste.Although I'm certainly not a ramen connoisseur, it was one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had, and I've had them all over the country. The taste was bursting with flavor, and as mentioned prior, the heat level was dialed in perfectly. Everything was fresh and delicious.I don't love commenting on prices because things are rarely "cheap" anymore these days, but you can get almost all their bowls for between $10-20, which to me is a great deal. It's going to be nearly impossible for a restaurant to serve fresh, often local, delicious ingredients for under that (though I did hear they have a happy hour). My understanding is that they do source organic, local, and sustainable often, and still manage to keep almost all their ramen bowls at this price point, which to me is amazing. What I will say is that being one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had, I would have gladly paid more for it.It's great having a spot like this in West Seventh that's walkable to downtown, and I definitely look forward to coming back!

Went here tonight to celebrate my younger brother’s 17th birthday, Food was delicious, Staff were all lovely, and the atmosphere was top of the line. A perfect winter spot, and I’d imagine a lovely late night spot in the summer

Delicious niche spot for ramen! Such a nice ambiance inside that’s cozy and flavorful. We came here before a show and came in time for happy hour. They had ramen bowls for just $10! The bowls are each unique and so adorable. The servings of ramen are enough for two meals and our server packaged up our leftovers for us very nicely considering the ample broth. Our ramen had beautiful flavor and smooth noodles. Definitely have to try this place out for yourself!!

No place like it. Tori delivers on the hype with its unique drink menu, ramens, sides, appetizers, and ambience. I really appreciate the porkless ramens, and the attention and craft that the chefs put into their seasonal dishes. I’ll be back.

Delicious ramen in a cozy setting. I ordered the Korean cucumber appetizer and fire shoyu ramen (hot! If you like spice, this is the ramen for you!). Both were perfectly plated and tasted even better than they looked. Tori is a must try restaurant on W. 7th.

I really wanted to enjoy this place. The menu is so interesting and sounds like it would be so uniquely flavorful. However, when we got our food, the flavor was lacking. Our broth was not very flavorful, and the noodle texture was off. Then on top of that, since we didn't enjoy our food we felt that the price is a bit much. In my opinion, I think that they tried a little bit too hard to stand out and that affected the food's quality.

Amazing Ramen!! Some of the best I've had anywhere (and I've been to Japan). The food was wonderful. This place is really cute, with the old train car dinning room. Would highly recommend. They have tons of vegetarian and vegan options. My wife ordered the vegetarian ramen "Bali Ramen" and said, 'it was the best thing she had tasted in years."Vegetarian options: Several great Vegetarian Ramen options.
