The mix of the ground beef, breading, and sausage gravy is a wonderful symphony in your mouth. That's all I order when I'm here. This is also the best breakfast place in town.The food is good and the service is friendly.“

“I'm a local driver (MN) and try to stop in every time I can. Nice little chrome shop, tons of accessories. They have the carbon copy loose leaf log sheets I like ? and there's ALWAYS parking. It can get tight but there's always a spot to tuck in some place. Hot plate food has a large selection of decent food. The restaurant is great also. Bathroom is nice.“

“We enjoyed delicious cheese curds and wine and a burger and fries while dining on the patio. Very reasonable prices. Service and food were excellent. We considered going back the next day and after choosing a local diner we greatly regretted that we didn’t. If we lived locally this would be a favorite spot.“

“Wow! Great course in the middle of no where ( apologies to local residents). Stopped here to golf while driving from St. Paul to Fargo and was so impressed. Tom Lehman designed, mostly links course ( several holes in the trees). Well maintained. Played by myself in 3 hrs. Price was $33 including cart. Really a fun course ( except for the 3 holes that weren’t so fun for me).“

“Had a wonderful visit. We stayed in room 17 and absolutely loved it. Jacuzzi was clean, room was neat and nicely decorated, bar and restaurant staff were amazing. And the ghosts were cool af. Absolutely going to come back. Kerri and Arthur are the best!“

“Terrific food. Always ask about the special of the day -- it changes constantly and is almost always delicious. Warm, friendly service. Simple little spot that's worth a stop whenever you're in the area. Right off I-94. One poster claimed prices were $18 for vegetarian and that they charge for chips. That has never been our experience. Honestly wonder if they are mixing it up with another restaurant.“
