Very nice wait staff and great Mexican food for veggies. Nice selection of drinks. Will go again. More traditional fair which was a nice change.Vegetarian options: We found a nice selection of veggie options.

I have been to many Mexican restaurants during the last 50 years in many states and multiple countries. Some were excellent, some were good, and some were bad. Having multiple Mexican restaurants to dine at near Savage, we went to the El Parian Mexican Restaurant Savage on Thursday, February 8th, and found the food to be by far the worst Mexican food that we had ever tasted and, in my opinion, not edible and I was only able to finish the rice and beans, although the beans most likely have come from a can. My Chilly Colorado was nothing more than over-salted chopped beef with catch-up or some sauce. The waiter was quick, in fact, too quick. Two minutes after we arrived, he was ready to take our order. Then, he kept coming back to the table once every two minutes until we got tired of him and ordered. Five minutes after the order was placed, we were served the worst Mexican meal we had ever had.

Burrito and refried beans were very good. I also appreciated the lettuce, tomatoes and guacamole on the burrito plate. Everyone in my party thought that the food was tasty and a good value.Kid-friendliness: Casual. There was a bar but little activity there.
I have been here about 10 total, the service has also been good, but 4 times I have been there between 11am and 2pm and the meals aren't near as good after 5pm. We went again yesterday around 1pm, The only thing we can figure out is maybe a different cook from mid day to evenings...
