“Ordered at the restaurant for a take out order. My order was taken immediately and i only waited approximately 7-10 minutes to get it. My fries were fresh and hot, my meat was tender,juicy and flavourful. The take out bag had everything in it, plastic silverware, extra napkins, bbq sauce and wet naps. Outside of it being a little on the expensive side i had a good experience and meal.“

“We stopped by yesterday for my 70th birthday, and we were not disappointed. Although I have had their ribs in the past, yesterday they were exceptional. They were some of the meatiest ribs I have ever ordered and the sauce was absolutely delicious.“

“I had the pulled pork at closing time. Smokey flavor was phenomenal. The meat was a little dry but it was closing time. The coleslaw was coarse cut sweet with just a touch of heat. Will definitely order again. Atmosphere was perfect for a small Is mostly take out barbecue joint. Go give them a try.“

“My husband and I are from Texas and are particular about our BBQ. This is not Texas bbq, but it is unbelievably fantastic. Great crust, perfect marbling, just fantastic. I always over order but I WAY outdid it this time because those beef ribs were so huge. The brisket was so moist. We won’t be going to any other bbq place in twin cities. Loyal to Black Market. Plus the people we SO friendly.“

“I've always known the meats here are the best you can get, but this most recent visit was better than ever! There were a wide variety of freshly made BBQ sauces and the buns were fresh and toasted. It was a very impressive presentation. To top it all off, they brought out free ice cream treats for my kids. Did I mention Frank Zappa's picture on the wall?“

“We went here for a quick lunch date and would go again in a heartbeat. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. They had ample parking on the street and in their lot which was great especially due to their location. The lunch menu was priced right for the BBQ $15.95 for 2 meat options and $19.95 for 3. Each of the meat options were seasoned well and the table sauces were perfect additions. We had more than enough food with 5 meat options. The service was great and we had access to a full bar with many personalized options. Also, lots of appetizer options. Get the Japanese Fried Chicken! “was a bit worried after reading a few 1 or 2 star reviews but 3 beef ribs I had were very smokey and tender yet chewy. ribs came with sauce already, more of sticky type than runny but goes well with smokey ribs. I liked side toasts with some cheddar sauce on 'em and lightly cajun fries. without knowing I stood and waited for about 30 mins or so (no chair and area's kinda dark) but food was worth the wait. Amos allows call-in so next time Imma call in to try other stuff!“

“I was craving BBQ, and this place is close to my work, so I gave it a shot. I placed an order online, and it was a standard wait of 40 minutes, no big deal. It took an extra 20 minutes on top of that, but it was still no big deal, just plan accordingly if you order to go. The ribs were tender, the brisket was great, the potatoe salad was good, and so were the greens, the mac was mid, but that could be from travel time. I liked their BBQ sauce but would have loved some more heat in it. Parking is across the street just a heads up. I'd definitely go again and have no regrets!“

“I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I went for the current special, Cuban sandwich, but they were sold out for the day. So I ordered a shredded beef arepa and it was awesome! Very flavorful and tender meat. I gotta say, it doesn't look all that big but the amount of beef in there was super generous and I couldn't finish the whole thing. Got a side of yuca fries and those were great as well. Will definitely be back!“

“This little restaurant was great. It’s located inside the midtown Global market building, along with other food vendors. Mr. Robinson and Mr. Marshall were outstanding. Took care of us really well. We had a lot to eat and recommend just about everything. The pork tips were a bit dry, but their spicy BBQ sauce was on point. Ribs, excellent. Brisket, excellent. We had their million dollar wings and be careful, when they say wings, they give you all the section of wings. They do not scrimp on that so make sure you don’t over order like we did ?! The collard greens were on?point?. The black eyed peas needed something, maybe a touch more salt, but couldn’t put my finger on it. They even brought out their brisket chili for us to taste test. It was delicious. It looks like they have it on special every once in a while so if it’s there the day you go, highly recommend that you try a little bowl. It was good. Just spicy enough and chili flavor came through. Great job guys!“

“We come here about one a month. Getting a bucket of wings with sweet and sower sauce. They are great salty wings with good flavor. Its nice that they are not like everyone else giving wing segments. Wing joint gives you the hole wing. So when you order a bucket of wings you get 24 hole wings. It like ordering 48 wings from everyone else.“

“Haven't been in this place since it was Legends so my friend and I split a couple of items. The pork candy was a good appetizer for 2 and maybe 3. There was some fat on it, but it is to be expected with that cut of meat. We shared the Beast Cheesesteak Sammie but just felt very greasy to me. The crunch of the pickled jalapenos helped a little bit. The BBQ french fries are just fries with some dry rub spices sprinkled on top. It was fine, but nothing special. The bartender was very friendly and the atmosphere was great, I would probably just order something else next time.“

“My group of 3 stop in before seeing a show last night. We all got they royal burger, which I really liked, i loved the fact the chips they came with were tortilla chips. I really like tortilla chips.The fried cheese curds were really good too.The did forget to bring us our cheese curds, but brought them out right away when we brought it to their attention.Drink wise, I got a cider (I don't like beer personally) which was from number twelve next door. It was as I expected, I liked it. Wasn't too dry or too sweet.My friend got the midas and he said it wasn't bad, but not really his favorite. My sister in law got bi-frost bridge, which she did like a lot.Service was pretty good, the two guys behind the bar were really nice and helpful.I liked the interior set up, I tend to like open floor concepts. “I'm so mad I live all the way in Rogers and have to drive to get this catfish! ? We were visiting George Floyd Square and stopped in for a quick bite to eat, we had no idea the food was going to be this good. The catfish was fried fresh, crispy, not greasy, and soooo good. The candied yams were on point! And the mac 'n cheese had just the right about of kick. Definitely on my list of the Twin Cities best!“

Best part it was temp hot and Service was fantastic, loved the order taker, food ready in 10 mins A+++.Only 4 pieces of small chicken, I could taste the the FISH and smell it as I ate :-( The medium spice even with added side spice just was 8 of 10. The to go container cracks easily. They do have chop sticks :-).Based on other reviews I would eat here again just would not get this food item, slightly disappointed. “Have never been there but when I was about 12, which is 44 years ago, I was a local newspaper delivery gal and my Sunday papers were always dripped right in front of your shop! I lived just a block away on Juno and delivered for over a year rain, snow or shine! Lots of great history in that area. Best wishes to your bbq biz!“

“Food was good, Mac and cheese was awesome. I ordered the 2 meat platter and prefered the pulled pork. I love a little more kick to my sauces. My only suggestion would be to turn up the heat on a new sauce.It's everything you want from a BBQ joint.“
