I'm never disappointed coming here. A friendly and courteous staff. Have the buffet. You'll walk away stuffed but, make sure you leave room for ice cream

We love this place and there selection for buffet items and off the menu choices. We come from northern Minnesota twice a month and always stop to eat here. Would give 5 stars for quality and service, but over the past couple of months have been disappointed with closed doors. Once when we were running late we called to see how late they served and were told if we arrived before 7, the buffet would still be open to us. When we went in at 10 minutes before 7 we were turned away by an employee who told us it was too late. Another time when we were arrived they were closed due to sewer problems.(Probably not their fault, but an update on the phone or website would have been appreciated!) Then yet another time when I called to see when they changed to supper prices and they said 4 pm. We got there a little after 3 pm and they were closed. Maybe whoever answered didn't know what day it was? We hadn't heard they were going to start closing at three. Frustrating at best to drive the extra 60 miles from Little Falls where we drive to for medical appointments. Especially when gas prices are so high.

I had diner at Bonanza in St Cloud today. The food was excellent and all the workers where so nice. From where I sat I could watch and they all worked together like a great team. Thank you!

Out dated decor. Poor quality meat with little to no flavor. We had 4 steaks which were poor quality and flavorless. The service was very good. We will not be returning.

Apparently you cannot get salad bar only, you have to order the buffet which is $14.95. if I would have known this I would not have gone to this restaurant. I am a small person and I don't eat $15 worth of food at a time. The beverage is $2 extra. Fortunately I'm okay with water. When I got to the buffet line, some of the plates available to grab still had food residue on them. I reached several plates down on the pile and that one still had food residue on it but I just scraped it off with my fingernail. I would have liked chili but the only soup offering was wild rice. The meatloaf was excellent, and I normally don't like meatloaf. The chicken was good. I wonder if I could ask for the child size buffet, or do I have to be under a certain age?

Great selection of food and desserts! The chicken legs were huge! Good old home cooking buffet style! Will definitely come back!

This is the First time we've been here since they reopened. The food was good. But the prices have gone ridiculous the only Prices that hasn't doubled was the Buffet when we stopped it was $12.99, Most everything else was Double I ordered the Senior Chopped Steak it was $16.99 and mushroom and onions and additional $5.99. Not terrible but this is Bonanza the chain was founded as a Low Cost Family Restaurant, the Menu does not reflect that in any way. The Steak prices were in the $20.00 range old prices in the $8.99, $9.99, $10.99, ranges. Considerably Different. The Salad Bar, The Hot Bar, and Dessert Bar, where all the Same as in the past. It was not any higher quality food or healthier food then in the past. The Food was as good as in the past I don't know if it's worth the price. We'll have to think about going back for the Pricing.

I'm always happy after a trip to Bonanza!! Hamburger steak, baked potato and salad bar are now occupants in my belly. ?

Disappointed you have to pay extra for steak & other items. Meat loaf wasn't very good. Chicken & fish alright. Also thought variety of food rather minimal. Golden Coral, & Country Kitchen buffets much better in my opinion. May revisit, unsure at the moment. If you like buffets check it out & post your opinions.

My favorite is the hamburger steak cooked medium with fried onions and no potato. I like the salads and the fresh veggies and this is the only place you can get beets on the bar. Getting back to the steak, I use a lot of pepper and salt it because they are catering to the older population who are told to restrict sodium intake. The is plenty of food to eat healthy and plenty other food to eat unhealthy. Pick you choice. The steaks are always cooked as you order. I always order medium and it comes that way while being juicy.

First of all I want to start by saying I felt very uncomfortable. I walked into the restaurant being the only black person there(which is understandable) but to be stared at like was unnecessary. Even as I continued to get seated by the waiter, still received discomfited glares and stares. Secondly, the food was under-seasoned, burnt, or inedible. The chicken was under seasoned and over cooked, the potato wedges were burnt and inedible, and the ground beef for the tacos were over cooked, mushy, and under-seasoned. The only thing I can say I took into account was the mac and cheese and steamed broccoli. Don’t Recommend.

The food was excellent. Hard to find any bonanza steakhouses around anymore. As usual I ate way too much. Staff was friendly. The salad bar has enough for a meal including tacos and chicken.

I liked how the hamburger tastes. I like chicken buffet food choices and I like the taco buffet. But I love the salad bar for the spinach and beets. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I would tell my friends to try the food choices.
