“I was very surprised to see a tii cup location here so ofc we had to try it! My go-to is always a jasmine milk tea with boba, number 2 sweet and less ice. The flavors did not disappoint, rich but with a bold tea flavor. The decor surprised me as well, compared to most other locations around the twin cities, it looked very clean and nice, not worn out at all!“

“First time here, we were greeted within moments of entering the shop. Lots of choices, staff were very patient while we made our decisions (6 drinks). Drinks only took a few minutes to prepare and we were on our way. The kids love all things boba, and the boba servings were very generous. The husband usually isn't into these kinds of drinks, but really enjoyed the matcha latte. I think he was pleasantly surprised. Quality of the drinks were on point and I think the prices were very fair. We will definitely stop again next time we're in the area.“

The cuisine is listed as Taiwanese not Hong Kong style which is an excellent departure from the usual wonton dumpling fare. As it was a Monday, the service was quick even with a party table of ten people seated before us.“

“I absolutely adore this bakery. The staff are a little shy maybe, but friendly and prompt. They've added more fun and varying seating, which is nice. But let's get to the important stuff - their pastries!! I was so depressed about American food after a trip to Paris. I'm SO glad I found a bakery that has croissants that are completely comparable to any I had in France. Plus... their other pastries and macarons are so good, and they have boba milk tea, which is a favorite of mine! I frequent here often but felt it's about time to leave a good review! “This is an up-and-coming business. I foresee a booming success in their future. Their doughnuts are fantastic. My favorite is the black sesame doughnut. It sounds savory, but it's sweet, though not overly so. The texture is chewy and airy all at once. The bubble tea that they serve tastes different than what I'm used to at a Taiwanese bubble tea place that I frequent, but that's to be expected and it's fun to explore different kinds. The cups that they put the drinks in are of good quality and can be saved for later at home. The staff were super friendly, and I told them that I hope they apply to get into the state fair. There is an Instagram style photo op spot on the wall, but the atmosphere overall is very plain and sterile. However, I imagine that will change over time once they gain more traction. Five stars!“

“Swung by for dessert after dinner at Hot Pot City. The ordering experience at the kiosk was super easy! I just wish there were other options for sizes - maybe I just didn't see them? I appreciate when places let you pick your sweetness level. I ordered a chizu taro latte with 25% sweetness at the recommendation of a friend and it was delicious! My husband ordered a hazelnut with the stir fried boba. They unfortunately were out of the boba, but the kid at the counter was very sweet and offered us an alternative. I'll definitely be back and will be ordering a donut as well!“

“I came here and got a taro slush one time! That is my go-to order at almost every place. I really really like the interior and can see myself coming here to study. It is very calming and fun inside. Also, the service was so good! The workers were very nice, respectful, and caring. Honestly, the taro slush wasn't the best, but I can't hate too much because they did their best. I could taste the individual ice chunks inside it, though. I'm sure their other orders are really good! Overall, a good experience!“

“For people who don’t know much about hot pot this is the place to go.Let them make the pot! They have a wide variety of pots to choose from. The broth is simple and flavorful. You also get more miso base to enhance your broth for free. My pot was a glorious concoction of dumplings, kimchi, seafood, beef, egg and vegetables. Oh my damn! “I absolutely love this place! Run by teenagers with great attitudes.. I was weary ? when I saw the kids in there and barely anyone who looked over 18, however... they proved me wrong. They were smiling ?, helpful, and the calamari was cooked better than most restaurants around.. a little heavy on the spicy seasoning, but it definitely was delicious! The drinks are made very well, and the atmosphere is so fun with the swings that can hold much weight, so anyone waiting can have a swing and chill. Great , great vibes!!“
