It's a great place to visit. But. I had the Lake Trout dinner. 3-4 ounces at best. I was hoping for a Lake Trout and ended up with a tiny fillet. Left hungry. I'm 69 years old, don't have a huge diet but please feed me so I don't have to go home and still cook. I ordered a Lake Trout not a blue gill. Six tiny bites. Charge +$20.00 and serve a real fish portion. Service was good n food was tasty. Two orders for me would have been adequate. Afraid to try Whitefish or Herring. Maybe just make it an appetizer. That's all I ate. A burger destination, used to be fish also. I appreciate the current struggles, Jack up the price, portions or be a burger joint.

It was our first time eating at Earthwood and we are looking forward to the next. They did a great job.

We went in with a my brother's family, my parents, and my family; 12 people total. EXCELLENT SERVICE & food came fast. She was right on with our drinks and appetizers RIGHT away!! I highly recommend the breaded cauliflower. Burgers were great, food was hot, fries were crispy. Staff was friendly, and the nicest couple ladies from your kitchen brought our meals out and thanked US for coming! So nice to see someone glad to have customers, and we showed our appreciation. We will definitely stop back when we are in the area again!

Stopped here with my brother's family my parents and our family, for a total of 12 people. They were excellent. Drinks and appetizers right away, our meal came out quickly after that, and it was delicious! Two awesome ladies that cooked our meals brought them out to us and thanked US for coming! Our waitress did a fantastic job as well, especially since we had with 3 little kids with. Highly recommend!

Stopped in Saturday, the server was fantastic, she might have been working alone? She was great, the food was great. We loved it, have passed it by on other drives, we should have stopped sooner!

Obnoxiously loud place where the locals apparently get hammered and yuck it up on a Saturday afternoon. There's a place exactly like it in every town, so if that's what you're looking for when you're traveling, here you go.

30 years and all smiles. Grilled herring and Jack daniels on the rocks with good friends.

The staff was friendly. The beer the waitress recommended was good. Based on all the reviews I expected this to be a hidden gem, but the burgers were dry and took a good 20 to 25 minutes to come out. Menu has typical items nothing special. I can’t recommend it, but I also hope this was just a fluke. You won’t hate it, but you probably won’t love it if you’re from out of town.

We've stayed at Earthwood Inn for four nights last week, the third time we've visited. It's a good location for exploring the south half of the North Shore and Two Harbors. The rooms are simple and clean with good beds. The restaurant/bar closes early, so evenings are quiet. The location is about a mile south of Two Harbors on Scenic 61 keeping the expressway noise from MN-61 to a minimum.Great food is just 200 feet across the parking lot. Our favorites on the menu are the grilled chicken and swiss sandwich or the broiled Lake Superior herring, but they have a good menu with lots of options. Good food, great service, and cold beer. We'll be back again next year.

Great service. Great Food. The Herring was terrific. The California Burger was way above expectations. Homemade slaw and hush puppies were fantastic. Would recommend to anyone looking for great food and service... and beer!
