“Love this local restaurant! Normally I order the scallops with creamed corn and bacon and that never disappoints but this time I went with a new pasta dish with crab! It was amazing! The flavor combinations were spot on! Nice work to the chef! We sat at the bar and our waiter/bartender did an amazing job as well! Thanks for making our anniversary night a special one!“

“Love Enki; it’s on my regular brewery rotation. Beer is excellent and space is wonderful. Half price beer at happy hour—give me some! The Ponder Pale Ale is one of my 2023 summer faves. And, I wish all food establishments would switch to the automatic service charge model—much easier on customers and fair to workers.“

“The experience here was amazing. Walking in, I already felt the atmosphere and smell of an ice cream parlor, which brought me back to when I was young. I ordered the white chocolate and raspberry coffee, which was a very interesting taste, but very good! I got the Superman and Playdough, and both were great. I also snagged myself some Raspberry chip to go, and it was so tasty. Next time I go there, I am definitely going for the Nicolette Asphalt“

“Been a few times for beer but this time I came for coffee and to do some work. It was a really chill place to come work and I love that they've got bottomless drip coffee; just need to pop back up to the bar to grab a refill. Everyone I've talked to there has been super helpful and friendly. Always willing to answer any questions and give recommendations. They've got some pastries from Brittner's next door, standard bar snacks, and N/A options. Only open until 12 on Mondays but you can always roll straight from coffee to beer depending on how your day's going! They hold a lot of events and fundraisers for local groups, which is awesome to see. Their beer is good and it's a great change of pace from the trendy, industrial-chic spots I normally get to. Will probably add this coffee shop to my regular remote work rotation.“

“Beautiful west metro brewery with a wide variety of well executed beers. They also have a nice location on the water with plenty of seating indoors and out. Dog friendly with plenty to do between sports on TV, to games and stages for live music. When I when they had a hot sauce tasting, and 3 food trucks. If you’re in the west side of the twin cities, like great beer and a good time check this place out! (Side note they are very friendly to the home brew crowd and brewing community in general) TOP!“

I have not had any of the coffee before but if you are looking for a great sandwich for lunch highly recommend this place! Everyone here are so kind and patient. It is a smaller place so be aware that it can get busy during peak hours but plenty of places to sit!“

“Our first time stopping at this location as we passed through while traveling. James from the second we walked in was an absolute class act! Customer service was phenomenal and recommendations were even better. We came in a little unsure of what we wanted and James gave us some excellent recommendations. The Bulldog and Shih Tzu did not disappoint! Huge dogs, loaded with toppings and the bread was delicious! Thank you James and Dog Park we will be back!“

“This place rocks! Why go to a big chain type coffee shop when you can come to Excelsior...have a view of the lake...have a wonderful coffee and a sandwich made from scratch plus talk to the owners at the same time! The ham, egg and cheese croissant is my go to! 10/10 would recommend!“

“Best frozen custard I've ever had! It wasn't too sweet like others I've had before. They had quite a few options, I had the hot fudge sundae with banaa and my hubs had the banana split. The workers were all teens and they were super friendly and helpful. Parking spot is small because there is a drive thru (DRIVE THRU FOR FROZEN CUSTARD!! BRILLIANT!). Line went fast though. Wish we had this in the Bay Area. Wish we had better behaved teens with strong work ethic in the Bay Area. LOL! Cause these teens who work here would be a great example. You need to definitely head over to this spot. Great service and the best FROZEN CUSTARD!“
