Good food, right in a cabin rental area. Like little town homes, they have a nice deck. That overlooks the Lake.And a game area That has everything from Bag toss to 3 foot high chest pieces and checkers. Not too many places that are right on the Lake. This is definitely one to visit.Parking: Didn't seem like there was a whole lot of parking.

The hamburger was delicious the ribs were okay they could probably improve the sauce that they put on top but otherwise they were very tender. I do not like the french fries so much. And they really need a lot more on their menu!

Abbreviated menu for a snowmobile race that was supposed to be over at 4 was not over at 4, so most of the menu was gone.Food was not that great. Menu ideas seemed good, was executed poorly though. I feel like if I am forced to choose from an abbreviated menu the remaining items should have been on point

Food was delicious. We actually came here twice during our week-long vacation, and everything we ordered was delicious. The kitchen staff was knowledgeable about food allergies, which is always a nice bonus.

Didn't stay here we were on our way back from out west, looked like a nice spot to grab some food. Unfortunately stood upstairs for 10 min while watching others each brunch. Than we went down stairs to the bar area and waited another 10 min but no one showed. Beautiful area and great setting. We may have missed the protocol on Sunday brunch but the open flag was out. No worries ? we ended up continuing on to Wisconsin to the Riverside Bar and Grill. Very good food and nice staff, ?

The walleye was Very good. Great service. Great view! Waging was excellent. They did forget the dressing for the salads, but overall a great experience.

Wow! What amazing customer service! We were greeted as though they were waiting our arrival! Beautiful scenery, beautiful landscaping, fun activities while waiting to eat. Top notch! Next time we come back... and we will, we will definitely be staying!!

We have a cabin on Leech Lake and it’s nice to have places like The Merit that you can access from the water. Good food and drinks and friendly service. You can also fuel up your boat from the water at Trappers resort as well!

I moved back up north from Dallas about 2 years ago. In Dallas amazing food is easy to find. Up north it’s a RARITY to say the least. For Father’s Day I decided to take my family to The Merit for the first time and I was blown away! Not only is the view, the atmosphere, and the staff beyond impressive the food is nothing short of spectacular! The special was a wagyu steak with a couple beautiful shrimp that were easily the size of my palm. The food plainly doesn’t come from the same vendors every single other local restaurant orders from. The drinks were also ON POINT - the blood orange margarita come HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (by Me!) it’s worth the trip from any distance. If Jen N is there, ask to be seated with her - she’s THE BOMB!

The location is beautiful, it's right on the lake and has fun activities like corn hole, big Jenga, huge Connect 4 and other fun family games! I got a burger which was okay but they never asked me how I wanted it cooked. Our server was very friendly but way too talkative. She was at our table and talked to us the entire time I ate my meal.

Excellent menu options along with the best view on the south shore of Leech Lake. The Tomahawk pork chop topped with fresh morel mushrooms was incredible and the walleye entree is also top notch. Highly recommend
