“Great place, great food, nice hillside view! We were greeted, seated and served by Lilly. Must be new, but VERY friendly and personable. Checked on cocktails, water level and food frequently. She did a great job. Started with a Bavarian pretzel knot. OMG that thing is HUGE and very good, came with 3 dips that were different from the norm and very tasty. I had the prime rib special which was cooked right and quite flavorful. My Wife had the grilled salmon that she described as delicious and the butter on top made it all the better. Great prices, food, staff... really a rather nice place that I will recommend and return to! Thank you!!“

“We were just passing through town, getting a little hungry, and we saw this place with a bunch of motorcycles out front. (We know what that means!) We went in, sat at the bar, got served by the owner (Greg, I think). I had chili, the wife had a philly steak sammich. Fantastic! We hung out for a while, watched a little football, and met some of the locals. Great food, fun people, nice place. We'll be back!“

“Came here for two reasons: they have a little bit of everything on their menu - and an Old Fashioned for the relatively low price of $8.50!First, the Old Fashioned was quite good. Bourbon (Buffalo Trace in my case) and muddled fruit, not too strong, definitely not too weak - just right (and not too sweet). I've paid more for drinks not nearly as good.As for food, had a darn near perfect mushroom and Swiss burger. Flame cooked to a good medium, with well sautéed mushrooms and flavorful Swiss cheese - tasted exactly the way I wanted it to.A nice surprise was the side - "homemade" tutor tots. Larger than standard tots, these had bacon, sour cream and green onions inside. Crispy on the outside, with creamy potato flavor on the inside, they were delicious.What this all really means is we'll be back!“

“We love FatBoyz!The have THE Best Pizza and great food. It’s hard to pick my favorite menu items.There is always something to do and the live music is a plus! It’s seriously the best place to watch sports in Carver County with all of the TVs. I’d say it’s the best bar/restaurant around!! It has a fun locals vibe feel and everyone is welcomed with open arms. The owners are great people and do a lot of charity events for locals.We love the outdoor bar and patio in the summer as well!They also do the New Germany Roll-in on Broadway car show on Thursdays! Great fun for the whole community!!“

“One of the BEST burgers around. It's worth the trip for the quality of the meat. Mushroom Swiss was perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful at a great price. Lots of choices besides burgers served in a typical tavern atmosphere. Big outdoor space for dining in nice weather. Justin, our server, was efficient and friendly. If you're on a road trip west, give it a try!“

“The Ugly Bar does not disappoint it's reputation. A Saga IPA and great cocktails, dancing a possibility, definitely enjoyed great music by the DJ. Everyone from every corner of Wright county are here letting go of the week. Easy to ride snowmobile there to the trails and back“

“Haven't been here in YEARS! Stopped for bloodies on a Sun. With freezing temps & the time of day, the place was close to empty. Bartender was so friendly, as were the other patrons & pulltab person. The bloodies were good & it was a great way to spend the afternoon!“

“Don’t judge a book by its cover… the outside looked like I was walking into a normal run-of-the mill small town bar. I was mistaken. The inside had a really great vibe and the food was delicious! I had the Cuban as a wrap. Never tried that before, but it was great! The onion rings were fantastic. This is a sneaky spot! If in the area, stop by! Highly recommend!“
