We rented a boat from Tally's and overall, our experience was OK. The boat was in great condition and the dock workers did a great job however, the anchor on the boat was cheap and not heavy enough. We tried to dock at many sandbars so that we could swim and enjoy the day however, the anchor would not hold the boat and it kept drifting. We had to stay on the boat the entire time because of this. The engine on the boat was too small and the boat would only go about 7mph (it took us 45 min to get out to a spot from the dock) and it wasn't heavy enough, causing the boat to take on some water in the front of the boat. We sent an email to Tally's explaining our concerns and issues we had from our rental but received no response. I would recommend renting a boat from another company in White Bear.

Went there for ice cream and they give the tiniest scoops! We got a single scoop for my 2yr old and it barely filled a quarter of his cup. My friend got a waffle cone with 2 scoops and the ice cream wasn't even above the cone! I don't expect cup n cone size, but what's the markup when you are charging $4-5 for one tiny scoop? Super disappointing.

Terrible service, over priced terrible food, I had to send my tacos back and was going to order something else after looking at the menu for other options. When I went back up to order, I waited for quite a while for someone to come out and take my order, after waiting so long I just decided not to order any food.They obviously didn't have their bloody Mary garnishes, the lady next to me ordered one and she got a meat stick, some cheese curds and olives, I ordered one for my wife and I, we got a slice of lemon, a slice of lime and two puny cheese curds. Then another guy had one at the bar and for his garnish he got a bread stick, it's like they just throw together whatever they can find, and they didn't have the cucumber vodka as advertised on their menu.I would not recommend this place nor will I ever come back, staff are very lackadaisical, unobservant, they don't smile at all and quite honestly they look like they hate their job. I gave one star only because you have in order to write a review. I give this place ZERO Stars.

We love Tally's! We have rented a pontoon on a Sunday, each summer for several years. The pontoon was clean and we were provided everything we needed for a fun trip on White Bear Lake!

First time getting any food there - BBQ meat was good. Pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket. All three were tasty. Memphis sauce is on the vinegar side if you like that.Unsure why they have online ordering system linked in to their site, but airways turned off? Took a few calls on a Friday night to get someone.Skip the cukes side. Need to try the slaw again to review.Overall, good location for boat up or waterfront takeout. I'm not sure dine in would be good. It was busy and took a little time, but it was also a very nice weekend toward the end of summer.

Absolutely awful! Never going back. This place is a s*** show. The price doesn't match the little amount of food I actually got. It was way to expensive. I had to wait for 45 unbearable minutes and when I asked where my food is they said "oops it was in the back the whole time" they thought it was funny I thought I'm starving and I have been waiting FOR 45 MINUTES , some of the girl employees were talking and screaming for everyone to hear. Personally for me it wasn't a good experience. I am very sad because I have gone before and nothing was wrong. The food was also really discusting this time.

We rented a pontoon for a family outing and have an absolutely wonderful experience with Tally's. Boat was incredibly clean, staff attentive and food was wonderful. Will rent again and stop by for food. Oh and the kids loved grabbing ice cream on our way out!

Great ice cream, but you guys should require your patrons to wear masks before entering the small enclosure that is this restaurant. You are creating an unnecessary risk for your employees and other patrons by not requiring the wearing of masks.
