“We had not visited for a few years because the last time we went, food was just meh. We were pleasantly surprised that the quality was back to what we had remembered. Lovely pumpkin bisque and a sparkling wine flight (a bargain at $17 for a glass and a half equivalent) started us off. I had the short rib on buttery grits, and my partner had the steak special....pricey but the best steak we had ever had...a terrific Wagyu flatiron. Perfect temperature, finishing salt, etc. Just perfect in every way. We split the pavlova for dessert. Service was refined but warm, and the glow from the fireplace and soft jazz made for a nice evening.“
“Love the food, atmosphere and staff! The menu is not busy and offers great choices. Cocktail, draft and drink selection is spot on. But honestly, Pizzeria Pezzo is much, much better than prepackaged Parmesan cheese and red pepper Yes!...They have Parmesan and pepper packets at the table. much to the servers chagrin.“
