Had fun with our group teaching and ultimately experimenting making alcoholic root beer floats with the bartender. She was very nice sport about it. We came up with a delicious new combo. Spent many weekend afternoons with my dad with the original Poots. Brought back wonderful memories.
A great little neighborhood bar / pub in the east end of Winona. Out for an evening walk while in town visiting friends, we stopped in for a drink and some darts. Greeted by the owner from behind the bar (Matt, i think, based on other conversations around us). We ended up staying most of the evening (so much for our walk). Pros: amazing handmade Pootzas, two dart boards, lively East side crowd. Cons: tiny (20 people will pack the place) and not much of a spirits selection. Definitely worth checking out.
