Service was fantastic. Fish, fries, shrimp and onion rings were delicious. Pumpkin pie was one of the best. Going there for brunch on Sunday. Best meal we had during our stay in Winona.

We had our wedding there last month and Virgina was absolutely wonderful! I could not have asked for a better venue or a better person to help us. She made our day wonderful and I will never forget what she did for us. The staff was also wonderful! 5 stars does not give them enough credit for everything they did! Love the Keidels ?

Went to whalens for a family members birthday. , it was a breakfast all you can eat. It was just average ,they had all the normal breakfast items Not a lot to choose from very basic very average. Not worth the price food was ok service was fine. Bathrooms were horrible , stunk like bathroom / locker room hope you don’t need to use it . Will not be back much better options available. Near bye

Whalen’s at Westfield is Top tier when it comes to dine in restaurants in the Winona area. I have attended a Mother’s Day brunch, Thanksgiving dinner, and have causally dined here and every time Virginia and the staff knock it out of the park. I can’t recommend this place enough. Deserves more than 5 Stars in my opinion!

One of the best places for lunch in Winona. Onion rings are some of the best anywhere. Their batter is so light and almost no hint of extra grease. The ribeye steak sandwich was delicious. My better half had the patty melt and said it was awesome. The host and business owner, Virginia was delightful and prompt. We'll be back often as we can.
This is my first time eating their brunch. It was delicious ?. It covered all the bases for me. The 2 biggest surprises were the biscuits and eggs. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the biscuits were soft as pillows ?. The service is always great they make you feel like family. They also have an omelet station. You have a great brunch Whalens. Thank you for letting me dine with you

Amazing!! Great customer service. Even while hosting a big party, our group was treated as VIPs and special. Great view of the golf course. Interior had great atmosphere. Highly highly recommend. We were told our food would be a 20 min wait due to a large party having just ordered. When requested as I was having a diabetic issue, they immediately offered soup to tide me over. Excellent. I will be planning a return trip soon!!

NIce view but lousy food & service.This is a restaurant that is connected to the club house of a golf course . I could not eat more than 2 bites my friday baked fish (MUSH) . My husband said it had the texture of lutefisk.He had the lunch special, Blue Cheese Salad which was ok but it would have been nice to have homemade salad dressing.The server delivered the food & never returned only to give us the bill. Needless to say we will not be back.
