I remember the old Savoys who had the best pizza anywhere that people drove across town to get. Maybe I didn’t expect that but expected better than just below average. Won’t order there again. There are too many other choices to pick from. There was hardly any sauce on their specialty pizza, which perhaps made them think they needed to too many onions and a bit too many peppers. Totally ruined the pizza it looked good but tasted nothing but onion. You couldn’t get away or even take many off as buried under every other topping except the sauce since there wasn’t any. Definitely don’t recommend.

I ordered a large, 14" Red's House Special pizza for takeout.. Asked for 1 extra minute of cooking. The crust was perfect on the edges but not crispy in the middle. The topping edges were perfect, but the middle was less golden brown, but it was hot. The pizza was supposed to have Italian sausage. What I tasted was a tiny bit of ground beef pieces here and there. Not the "famous" Italian sausage. There were a lot of mushrooms, onions, peppers, but no sausage, which is the reason I eat pizza! The pepperoni was thin and lightly applied.If it was Domino's, that's one thing. I get a large 16" three topping take-out there for around $12.00. But this is a $31.50, 14" pizza. For that price I expect perfection like the famous Red's Savoy on 7th street in St Paul!

Used to be one of my favorite pizza places... Until the service got so terrible and rude. I was trying to order pizza and wanted to learn about the specials. They then said I needed to be a rewards member. Which from then you would think if they want my business, they would've began to tell me the simple step to become a rewards member. Instead, I got dead silence on the phone. Then I begin to ask them about pricing on pizzas. In the middle of my discussion on pricing of pizzas, the gentleman on the other end of the phone literally hangs up on me. I couldn't believe it. It was so rude. To which I called back, and there was a woman on the other end. I then began to tell her that I was just hung up on to which she does not give an apology and continues to pull the same sort of cold and calloused routine that I received from the gentleman. When I arrived to pick up the pizza, the employees did not say hello, no one welcomed me in, I felt like the biggest inconvenience. The woman asked me if I were I was a rewards member to which I said that I was a Edward like to know more about it. She then tells me go to a website. I paid for the pizza and left. I've never felt more disrespected and more like me giving business to red savoy was an inconvenience to the entire management team. I felt like I was doing them a favor by showing up at 6:52 PM to get a pizza when they closed at 8 PM. I've gotten mid-level customer service in the past, and left it up to Covid, and all the other crazy that we experience. But we are far beyond that. And these people at this red savoy location definitely did not give me service with a smile. I have friends who owned another red savoy in the city, and they are outstanding. So I like the product. But definitely the management at this location was terrible. I will now see if the management actually apologizes to me in this thread... If they do, I will add to this review and up the star. But I don't for see an apology coming anytime soon. Not only that, but this place is dirty. I've eaten in here once and everything was filthy. These people don't seem to care about their customers or the brand of red savoy. Very disappointing experience.

Did anyone else notice a change in the way the pizza tasted today? Not so good. Usually is excellent.To be honest I'm kind of mad. I ordered ahead and I think they just made it right away and let it sit out and go rancid. I threw 3/4 of it away. I had purchased this as a special dinner with my dad who has Alzheimer's and my brother. Very frustrating.
Just isn't as good as the old days. The last two times I ordered takeout, I got home, and it was the wrong pizza, they made it right by crediting me a free next pizza but it happened a second time. It was loaded with mushrooms and by the time I finished picking out all the mushrooms I didn't have any pizza left. Way too much work! Not sure where to ty next because my favorite Old World Pizza closed recently :(

Okay this is quickly become our favorite pizza place but they also have an Italian salad and without a doubt one of the best salads my wife and I have ever had !!great food nice people well priced this is going to be one of our top five go to places

We ordered 3 pizzas and one of the three was burnt and inedible. We called to report our dissatisfaction but there wasn’t a manager to help… We left our name and number and several phone calls. After 3 days, we have received no response from the owner or manager.Very poor customer service!We have enjoyed pizza from another Red Savoy and had a good experience.

Worst pizza I ever ate. Customer service sucks if you want to order on the phone, the lady kept hanging up on me. Also they are very expensive for no reason.
