Woodbury Cafe is a pretty good eatery, conveniently located right off of 494. The food itself was great! I enjoyed an omelette and toast. It was flavorful and hot.The building itself is nice, clean, and wel kept . The service and atmosphere were pretty good. My reservations about this place:1) Passive aggressive signage (limit visits to 90 minutes and wait for entire party to sit down)2) Our server didn't stop by enough. She got us menus, got our orders, brought the orders, and dropped off the check. No more, no less.Parking: Normal, looked like it could get busy on weekendsWheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant, most likely

Service is perfect. I ordered the Cajun Benedict with peppers onions and fresh mushrooms with two fried egg on top of hash browns Cheddar cheese and on top then hollandaise sauce. Very rich. Too much food. Only issue with the arrangement of ingredients is all the vegetables were under the hash browns and not incorporated into the recipe. Didn't realize that too late. I won't order that again. Lots of options though.

The atmosphere is a nice step above your typical greasy spoon spots, with the same types of food and without feeling stuffy. The food is very good, and the portions are huge! The place feels very much like a small town cafe.

The server started cleaning mopping floors with a very strong chemical cleaner that we could inhale while eating. Not a very good time to be cleaning. Also vacuumed while we are having conversations across the table so we couldn’t hear each other plus dust while vacuuming. Server was nice tho. Just doing her job.

Before I begin shredding, I love this place, been coming here since I moved to Minnesota 7 years ago… which is an oddity in-itself because after 12 years as a chef all I do now is apparently complain about the food… so my wife says…So, bacon. Yes! BACON! When you ask for fresh bacon, you expect fresh bacon right ? And then when it comes you don’t expect it to be a 4 hour old, chewy jerky stuff so you (on the left) ? And when you ask for NEWER CRISPIER BACON you expect crispy bacon that is still a little bit pink because you know… it’s fresh… but then they hand you some 4 hour old that has only been put in the deep fryer… and then your server says “be careful, it’s still sizzling.”That was not fresh bacon my dear… You can’t fool ME, I DID THE JOB TOO LONG!!! Sorry I’m ranting now…Anyway, come here, eat the Biscuits and Gravy… their caramel rolls are delicious… just make sure you get the ham because I won’t even give this bacon to my dogs…
