Best Chinese around, not even close. Sesame chicken is absolute tops, as is the pork fried rice. Honestly, don't understand how the reviews are as low as they are, this place is always busy as hell. Even with how busy they are, they can get orders out in a timely manner, and the quality is always very high. No gray mystery meat here, all white meat chicken, and amazing BBQ pork.

The fact Yang's, the best Chinese in the Twin Cities burbs is at 4.2 stars at the time of this review is a crime. Garbage strip mall buffets have similar scores. I think it shows that people have bad taste in food, especially Chinese. If you prefer yellow fried rice, mushy jelly 'chicken', and eggrolls soaked in expired grease, Yang's is NOT the place for you. If you like high quality ingredients, with great house made sauces, properly seasoned, you will love this place. This is my second favorite Chinese restaurant of all time, with my favorite now being closed, due to the owners retiring :(. Must try the sesame chicken, pork fried rice, egg rolls (original OR crispy), chicken lo mein, vegetable egg foo young. I have tried many other dishes here, most of the menu in fact, but these stand out as my favorites.

Food was very good. They didn't put enough meat in the lo mein and the orange chicken didn't any kick to it, despite me ordering #2 on the spice meter. Makes me think they didn't actually include spice at all. Other than that, it was very tasty and the service was great. Will eat there again for sure.

I ordered Mapu Tofu and Hot & Sour soup. I ordered level 5 spicy. It was pleasantly spicy, not too firey hot. If you're looking to burn your face off, this isn't the place, but if you're looking for a nice level of spice (spicy for Minnesota), this is great.

Fried rice had chunks of hard dried out rice, Mongolian beef was underwhelming, had a lack of flavor. Sesame chicken was lacking sauce , flavor was ok.Ive had all 3 of these dishes a couple of years ago and they were way better than today's . I have no problem paying for quality this didn't even come

We recently did a take out order from Yangs. We used to eat there often when we worked in Woodbury. Now, it is considered to be a treat.Unfortunately, the quality of the food was a mix review.Good: sesame chicken had great flavor.Okay: Kung-pow chickenNot good: Egg foo young and the cream cheese wontons. The chicken was on the side and not baked in. The wontons were very tough on the outside and hard to enjoy.Maybe it was because they were swamped or it was a rake out but next time we will eat there.

The egg rolls are exceptionally good. We also enjoy the lo mein and the Singapore noodles. Easy to park, quick service.

The food is pretty good fast serve Chinese food. The wait staff can be a little rude, and quite pushy. I've been here several times, and I've had the older staff tell me when I need to order or when I need to be done (this has never been for lack of tables or like I've camped out there). The only other minor complaint I have is that soda only allows three refills, and they will refill your glass when it is halfway full. The front of house staff are always very nice, and if you are willing to roll with the waitstaff, then it's worth stopping by!

Woodbury remains a dead spot for Chinese food in my opinion. Based on the reviews and the fact they have been around for so long I had hopes it would at least be a 3 star experience I could make work for those nights I'm just craving Chinese takeout close by. Sadly it was not. I dined in on a Friday night with a handful of other folks scattered about the tables. I ordered the combination fried rice and the beef chow fun. I was really impressed when I saw the food as it had the look of quality Chinese food. Unfortunately that was where it ended. After a couple of bites of the fried rice I realized it lacked any real flavor and was mushy. I should have known from how mushy the side of white rice was. See uncle Rogers TikTok for the right way to make fried rice... "if it's soggy you #%*# up!" The beef chow fun had great texture and plenty of beef but had no flavor and I had to douse it with soy sauce and chili oil to make it palatable. The hunt continues for even mediocre Chinese in the new digs...

A family favorite! I've never been here when there haven't been people lined up for carry out, so you know the food's good. I'll admit, I've ordered the exact same meal since I was a small child: sesame chicken and egg drop soup. The egg drop soup isn't the most flavorful (although it's high on my list of comfort foods, likely for nostalgia's sake) but the sesame chicken!! It's truly a feast for the senses: crunchy, sweet, spicy if you want it to be, with the most incredible glaze. The past few times I've been, the restaurant's been short staffed, so it's a good thing the food comes out fast! The seating area's small with the same decor and Chinese zodiac menus they've had for as long as I can remember. That may not impress some people, but I don't think any of that matters compared to the fond memories my family's made at Yang's. We're all proud to be loyal customers.

Probably the worst Chinese I've ever had. I had the egg flower soup, Royal beef and chicken fried rice. Nothing had any flavor, hardly any beef in the royal beef. Over $30 for terrible food, will not be going back.

My family and I ordered $140 worth of food, based on the reviews. I mean, this overall rating is not accurate to my family and I at all. Here is what we ordered and our review:Cream Cheese Wonton- the cream cheese was literally cream cheese, not sweeten or favored at all. And the wrapper… why was it soooo thick and tough? I image cardboard box would taste like the wrapper used here.Fried dumpling- Again, the wrapping, why??? It was literally a bread texture of the card board box.Chicken wings- It was smaller so maybe the chickens were organic? Lol! They definitely made sure the chicken was cooked! So well done, the bone was deep fried (IYKYK).Shrimp in Lobster Sauce- Description of “jumbo” shrimp. Definitely not jumbo. Please don’t advertise as jumbo. It was maybe 5 shrimp in the whole quart takeout. And it was definitely sitting out in a pot too long- the liquid soup was sooo condensed and thick.Beef Lo Mein- Soy Sauce lo mein is more accurate.Sesame chicken- this was actually okay. The only dish that we felt was edible.I would not recommend.
