Walked in and the lady behind the counter was on her phone and quick to tell me the dining room was closing in 10 minutes. But drive-thru was still open for 2 more hours. I drove 20 minutes to eat in. I walked right out immediately. She must not like to work or have customers.

I go to this Captain 3-5 times a week and they go above and beyond to make my order perfectly, My mother is elderly and can only eat certain items and they go out of their way for her pretty much every I go there. Like tonight I pulled into the drive-thru, and they closed in 7 minutes I said it wouldn't be a big deal if they refused me service and they said "We know you come here for your mom and we wouldn't do that to her because we respect our regular customers especially when they're elderly and this is their favorite spot to eat"

Would give 0 stars if it was possible. Pay extraordinary amount for nothing. Chicken is more like nuggets. Very upset when I went back when an employee laughed and mocked us. Very uncalled for. Have never felt so disrespected in my life. Manager was like a deer in the headlights. He didn't know what to do or have anything to say. My opinion he should take some Manager classes or something...things could have been handled better. We should have gotten our money back...over $21 for 2 meals that wasn't even worth $5. Employee's are the most disrespectful group of people I have seen. Not to mention the employee was sweeping the dining area with customers eating. Really discusting. Beyond upset...I suggest everyone steer clear of this location.

Nov 2023: got the catfish dinner and it was fresh and HOT. That was really good! The service can be slow and the place looks pretty run down on the inside, but the fish is good IF it's fresh and hot.
Ordered online, items were missing had to go back twice to get everything, and still didn't get the sauce ordered in the first place. Won't return in the future.

I saw the post by Teresa B from a month ago. I have visited this restaurant on more than just a few occasions and have not had her experience - even once. There are some maintenance issues (soda dispenser) and I did not have occasion to use the restroom so can't comment on that. Otherwise the place was clean, there were no dead bugs on the window sills. and nothing was, "sticky." My guess is the lady had a bad first impression (the door) so was looking for things to be wrong.That said, their menu is quite diverse for a fast-food fish and chips place. You can get grilled as well as fried and there are several vegetable options - not just French fries. It IS a fast-food fish and chips place, not haute cuisine. 3 stars... And yes, I will be going back... The blackened whitefish with green beans and coleslaw (tasty) is a healthy alternative to the fried fish. I wish they had sweet potato fries and chowder(s) or a fish stew.

I can't believe they still have a franchise! The front door hasn't been cleaned in years, dead bugs caked on the sill of the windows, run down, outdated and filthy. Absolutely everything was sticky. Doors, tables just everything. Employees were hanging decor, clearly have time to clean. Poor management to say the least. No standards at all. I hate to see what the kitchen looks like. Bathroom was gross.
