“The view and atmosphere is beautiful, the food is basic - at least on a weekday - but the wine is great maybe the best in the region. This is worth coming to on a one day trip from st Louis”
“Going to the Botanical Tea Room is a wonderful experience. I went with a group from the St Louis Evening Herbal Association. We really enjoyed the conversation with the owners. They are very informed on the herbal teas, garden to table herbs, flowers and vegetables. It’s so much fun touring the property to see what’s being grown there. It is evident that Penelope loves what she is doing and sharing there. She takes growing and serving very seriously. It’s really just a beautiful experience!Dietary restrictions: I’m dairy free and Penelope had twice accommodated for me.”
“Meeting expectations. The quality of brewing equipment, select beans, pastries, atmosphere; were all up to the standards that most gourmet coffee enthusiasts expect.”
“When we stay in Washington, Missouri, our winery hopping itinerary goes: (1) Montelle Winery, (2) Augusta Winery Tasting Room, (3) Noboleis Vineyards, (4) Balducci Vineyards and (5) Blumenhof Winery. Starting off our day at Montelle. Montelle is possibly my favorite winery in the Augusta Missouri area for their ambiance. Their standing tasting bar meets an extra large patio area that looks over stunning views. We typically start at their tasting bar and then purchase a glass of wine to take onto the patio to enjoy their live music. In my opinion, they usually have the best live music of the day. They also have a great food menu with shareable snacks. We often see a private party - such as a Bridal Shower - while we are there, as well as couples dancing to the live music. Highly recommend this winery stop if you're in the area!”
“Counter service style like chipotle, but the food is way better. I got a chicken burrito which was excellent! They have beer and margaritas available. I had a top shelf margarita and it was very good. It was our first time there and The gentleman working the counter were helpful and fast. Huge fan of this place already and looking forward to going back.”
“Best place in town for amazing Greek food. The owners/staff are so friendly and kind. They’ve explained their menu to me since I was unfamiliar. Will be ordering again for sure!”
“Always greeted with a smile, and the baristas are so friendly and helpful if you’re feeling indecisive. Several gluten free options as well, including lemon poppyseed bread!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options. Any of the sandwiches can be made without the bread, and they have gluten free sweet loaf slices (lemon poppyseed, chocolate zucchini, and cinnamon coffee cake).Kid-friendliness: Lots of sweet treats, and an entire bookshelf of board games!”
“The food was yum! I hadn't been there in 20 years.. but the food has improved tremendously. The stuffed French toast was awesome. Staff was friendly. Gets busy on a Sunday for sure.”
“First time visiting Underground Espresso Bar. I had saw the option for a coffee flight online so I stopped in just for that. Unfortunately I visited in the morning and the coffee flight was all sweet drinks so I did not end up getting the flight. It would be nice to have the option to select your own drinks for the flight. I opted for an iced coffee instead, loved the taste. I'm usually an Exit 11 girl but will have to branch out to Undergrounds more often for this iced coffee. I'm giving a 4 instead of a 5 because of the associates. The cashier who rang me out was very nice & found the answers to all my questions though the other two young ladies were not being nice to her. The cashier didn't know all the answers so she was asking the other two and they were visibly annoyed with her and answered her questions with disdain, even giving each other looks when the cashier turned back around that was clearing indicating their annoyance with her. The cashier was a very nice girl and was doing the best she could, their attitudes towards her seemed unnecessary, felt very childish.”
“Our family’s favorite icecream joint. The best custard around. Good friendly fast service. The special never disappoints. The pumpkin spice cone with vanilla custard and a pumpkin spice flavor blast is heavenly. Cookies and cream shake is always a good choice. No inside so no bathroom, but there are picnic tables a shade tree and cafe lights that give it a nice ambiance. Our family of seven is always able to enjoy a bellyful for between $15-35 depending on what we get and if we share or each get a sundae or cone. We think it’s a great value considering the generous portions, option to get a kiddy size, the good quality and the great service.”
“Exit 11 is our favorite coffee place! Both me and my daughter have our favorite drinks and she moves a little faster in the morning if she knows we are stopping at exit 11 before school/work!”

“THE CINNAMON ROLLS ARE MOUTH-WATERING DELICIOUS!! Great people who are so friendly! I can't think of a better cinnamon roll I've ever had in my life. Get the take-home pack so you can heat them in the oven and pour the take-home icing on them ;) Perfection.”

“I love Hoshi and all their rolls, bowls and noodles! The ONLY thing I would change is the size of the sushi rolls.. I would love to be able to order a few different rolls but I can't because one is more than enough! WAY too big of a bite!”
“Support local businesses…Better than Scooters or Starbucks! Friendly service and a beautiful, delicious Carmel macchiato. The espresso flavor was wonderful. Thank you. I WILL be back!”
“The food is wonderful! Everyone was nice great service. Great cook. Big Mike is the best!!!! Got to love Jerry!!! My favorite place to eat or just stop by for a beer! I almost forgot they have the best burgers I have ever eaten!!!”
“I walk in there boom take my seat immediately whenever I sit down I barely have any time to think cuz they already given me are drinks I ordered some waffles and bacon bacon was crispy and chewy the food was just so good the waffles had the perfect amount of syrup and whenever you walk in the air the ambience actually feels like 1950s diner And the service was so good they give me my food out in less than 7 minutes Honestly I got to give this place an 8.5 out of 10”
“Believe the hype! The gooey burger is fabulous! It's the greasy delicious hamburger of your dreams paired with a great cheese sauce. Fries are fresh and hot.”

“When we stay in Washington, Missouri, our winery hopping itinerary goes: (1) Montelle Winery, (2) Augusta Winery Tasting Room, (3) Noboleis Vineyards, (4) Balducci Vineyards and (5) Blumenhof Winery. Ending our day at Blumenhof. What we love about Blumenhof is they have live music, free tastings and let you PICNIC on their quaint shady property. Their staff is funny, fun and knowledgeable. And their Devil's Den Red is a fan favorite. It's giving German winery and we love it.”

“We tried The Tilted Skillet for the 1st time the other day at lunch. We ordered the toasted ravioli stuffed crust pizza and buffalo wings and was served right away. I was great and I look forward to going back to try something else on the menu. Highly recommend !”
“This is a hidden gem in Washington. The food was delicious with a good variety of items on the menu including breakfast, service was wonderful as well. I love the history of this place.”
“Great service! Everyone was so friendly and our waitress was on it. Food was pretty good, nice size portions and reasonable prices. I like the menu, decent amount of options but not overwhelming like some with 1,000 things to choose from ? Franklin's is definitely worth visiting, but go early, they're open 6am - 3pm. They also have lunch specials...fried chicken, frog legs and a couple others!!”
“Exit 11 turned my teenage son and I into real coffee freaks! Now, we crave coffee anytime we want a treat or just had a long week. Exit 11 has the best coffee, in our opinion. We've tried alot of different coffee shops and still always say Exit 11 is our favorite. We usually get the Java Chip frappe or the White Chocolate frappe. Those are just our faves, but we've had all the frappes and we like iced coffees as well. Their iced raspberry Mocha is great! Their quiches are delicious as well as their breakfast bowls. The muffins and cookies and even the packaged specialty breads... all amazing!”
“I've gone to this hotdog stand almost every week. The owner is one of the kindest men I have met. The food is amazing. I come so much that he knows my order by heart. The steak tacos are a must eat. If your looking for some great food and good conversation then this is the place!”
