“I love me some kolaches... Are they stuffed biscuits? Rolls with food inside?? You judge. I can tell you that I haven't had a bad one yet. Usually purchased for breakfast, these are the perfect on the go meal/snack. I usually go for the sausage and egg, biscuit and gravy, or the Murica, with eggs, cheese and potatoes inside. And whatever your flavor is, you really can't go wrong with St. Louis Kolache. They offer these to go or as an eat-in with plenty of tables to choose from.“
“I stumbled across this place and had to try the pretzel pizza! $5 for a cheese pizza? You can’t beat it. Was tasty, we tried pepperoni which was $6.50. Enough to share with two people and an awesome value. I would say pass on the little pretzel bites—they don’t taste very pretzel ish, more like a white bread with seasoning/coating. However, the prices and pizza make this place at least 4 stars and worth a visit!“
“***updated review***Came here yesterday to pick up some drinks and bakery. The store was neat and clean as always. They were quite busy when I walked in but the owner Ray came to the counter to take my order pretty quickly. I used to come here for the Taro Milk, but my current favorite was the Purple Rice Yogurt with Mango drink. It's delicious and tasted similar like Vietnamese dessert - sua chua nep cam, but in a fruity side. I also got the Purple Rice Yogurt with Blueberry and Pasteis De Nata for my girlfriend, and she absolutely loved both items. My partner got his usual Chai Latte with Oatmilk - very aromatic and the sweetness just right. Bakery and drinks here are not overly sweet. We've been happy with our order and service here.Original ReviewAbsolutely love The Foundry Bakery. We come here almost every week for bakery or tea. My favorite is Portuguese egg tart!!! Customer service here is awesome!!! The owner is super friendly and remember us by name. Highly recommended!“
“Ok, so I generally don’t like donuts, brownies, and cupcakes. BUT their cupcakes (esp vanilla DF one), donuts and brownies are the BEST I’ve ever had in my life!! Their cookies were not my favs. But their other desserts make up for it. Very highly recommend this place!!“
“Wonderful place for a little breakfast! The cinnamon roll really stole the show. Delicious drinks especially the chai latte. I got mine iced. Loved the art pieces available for purchase displayed on the wall, with information on the artist next to it. Will definitely been coming back!“
“This bakery is hands down the best in St. Louis. The service is prompt and the bakery is clean. Every item on the menu is amazing and I wish I could eat here every day. The croissants are fresh and flaky and the desserts are mouth watering. I always recommend this place to my friends and family.“
“Cozy, yummy and kind. The Turkish delight and Baklava is amazing. They also have hookah nights now, which is great because they have a very clean and cozy seating area that will be perfect for small, intimate groups. Their flatbreads/pizzas are delicious and the perfrct size to share one or two with your friends. I also got their cardamom tea, which was a great pick me up in the afternoon. Highly recommend this shop!“
“Publishing a new book was meantfor a special celebration, and the gala at Cookies By Design came through with such a fabulous way to depict the occasion with great thanks to those who have been pa special part! Thank you for this special chocolate chip cookie sheet! It was delicious!“
“I like going here for freshly made bakeries. The store is always clean and neat. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. My favorites are their custard and cream cheese breads - which tends to be sold out pretty fast. I tried their melon breads couple times before but it's not my cup of tea. They also have some savory items and birthday cakes. My family and I especially loved the sweet potato cake here a lot. Must try item!“
“Stopped in randomly. Not only were the staff super sweet and friendly but the yummiest items were available even with us coming middle of the day. I got the salted caramel chocolate chip brownie and it was the BEST dessert I've had in a long time. I made sure to look you all up on Facebook to leave a review but to make sure I show appreciation to my new fav bakery ❤️“
“Now guys…these cookies are good. I now understand the craze. Perfectly sweet and moist. Nuts! I tried the MnM, chocolate chip, chocolate cupcake and cookie dough cookies. These cookies are gigantic so bring your appetite.Amy & Rob brought Crumbl to St. Louis and we will be forever grateful.A little history…Crumbl was born from a big dream, two cousins' passion for baking, and a mix of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. Co-founded by Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley, Crumbl started in 2017 with a single store in Logan, Utah. They focused on transparency and quality ingredients, offering milk chocolate chip cookies at first and later expanding to a rotating weekly menu. Their iconic pink box and commitment to family-owned values have fueled their rapid expansion to over 800 bakeries in 50 states, including recent international ventures in Canada.“
“Serving up traditional food that can delight our family, with a taste for our late Lola's cooking, AND a crowd of first-timers to Filipino flavors, I can't sing enough praises for STL Filipino Bread...though, I can try, thanks to the karaoke setup they made happen as part of a big family party we recently hosted in their shop.Food: Wonderful, whether you're a newbie looking for an accessible place to sample a variety of traditional dishes, or a Filipino foodie giving your own rice cooker a night off...I definitely recommend stopping by for takeout and baked goods!Service: They're always happy to help you find exactly what you're looking for on a daily basis, whether you're looking to grab a quick lunch or grab enough food to host a gathering. At the aforementioned family party---we couldn't have pulled off a celebration of a lifetime without all of their hard work to make it happen! The space was decorated to the nines, and every need we had leading up to and during the event was met quickly and with enthusiasm. Leah, Mary Beth, Anna, and Kuya Jojo felt like part of the family!Ambiance: Perhaps one of the most fun parts of STL Filipino Bread is how it is a "one stop shop" for items of cultural significance. I'm so thankful this place is here and helping share Filipino culture and food with the St. Louis Area!“
“We had a wonderful lunch at the Balkan Store and Bakery today. We were greeted with smiles and felt so welcome. We had lots of questions and the ladies took time to answer them. The gyros were huge and terrific, the soup was amazing and the greek salad fresh and delicious. We were so full that we had to take our Baklava home with us. Thank you Balkan Store and Bakery for a fun experience. I will be back to shop for Feta, olives and the Bulgarian Cabernet I spotted on the shelf! - jen fisher“
“I was here for less than five minutes and can't wait to go back. Wait staff was lovely. Got a coffee to go and a cherry turnover both to die for. Coffee was a chocolate raspberry that didn't totally wipe out that fresh coffee taste. Turnover is flakey and complimented my coffee nicely. Sit down food looked amazing can't wait to bring friends here.“
“Visited the daily bread yesterday for the first time. Cannot wait to go back! Great service, friendly staff, clean surroundings, and great food! Their salads are huge, their sandwiches use the freshest meats, and their desserts are really difficult to pass up!“
“I've stopped in the Cottleville location a couple of times and have really enjoyed the sausage and gravy and the sausage, bacon and cheese ones. It's a very good, very quick breakfast that's a little different from the norm.“
“This was my first time at Lefty's and I was not disappointed. My loxs and bagels were one of the most delicious sandwiches I have had in years. The staff here is so helpful that they go above and beyond the definition of the job. Leftys also has a very expensive menu that I am going to go back and try a couple of new dishes. Good luck to Lefty.“
“I drove 30 minutes to be able to try the Venezuelan sweets and savory food. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! The bread that was used for the food is very soft and tastes fresh. You can really tell that the food is made with a lot of care. Some of my personal favorites are the cachitos filled with ham and bacon and turkey and cream cheese. My favorite bombas is the one filled with the pastry cream. The pastry cream has the perfect level of sweetness. I highly recommend that you try this food. You won’t be disappointed ?“
“The Gooey Louis is the talk of the town, can't wait for the next shipment! Thank you for the delicious treats, you made Valentines special for my friends and Mom. She was too cute, snuggled up with her new friend at 94 years young ...and the two of them were sweet sharing the large Gooey Cake . Mom was a fantastic cook- baker and had never had a Gooey cake, and the new beau is a fan. I don't think they shared with others ....lol!“
“The ambiance was uniquely beautiful. I'm very impressed. The selection of food is wonderful. The biscuit and fried chicken were delightful. The service was good. Note: they do not have r table service. You order at the counter. Then they bring the food and drinks to you. The food was plentiful. I had a nice time. There are other items on the menu, therefore I'll be back.“
“Great place to stop and get some donuts casually! Service is friendly. However they didn't have too many donut options available on the day I came in--I think because I came later in the morning so they probably already sold out of many. I'll try getting back in here earlier in the morning next time!“
“This truck was at a tree lighting I went to and my husband and I picked up an oreo gooey and a red velvet gooey bar. They were delicious and a great sized portion. They even provided our dog a box of his own treats, since he was with us as well.“
“Visiting from out of town and got together with friends/family for drinks and reminiscing. Someone brought goodies from SMALLCAKES! WOW; I'm a customer for life. Had to go to the shop to get more. So pleasing to look at and even more pleasing to eat! Keep up the great work.“
“I work for a catering company and eat a lot of cake because of it. I recently had the pleasure of enjoying this bakery's cake. It was absolutely delicious and just the perfect amount of sweetness. It really was Chef's kiss. Easily the best cake I have had in a very long time.“
“I am not a huge cookie fan but my daughter kept telling me about Crumbl so since I knew she was going asked for two cookies. I got a Kentucky butter I think it was called and a. Stuffed cookie that was like a s'more, Two grams and a thick layer of chocolate in between. Now this would not be the same if you cook it at home, technically it sounds like you could but it's not...and it was by far my favorite. I loved this so much I made my daughter (she works right across from the Chesterfield location). I made her go get me at least one more cookie before. Flavors changes. I still am not the greatest cookie fan but if I were to want cookies I'd look for the nearest Crumbl!“
“This place has literally anything you could ever want! I stopped here around 10pm wanting something sweet and they certainly provided that. I got a small key lime pie that was perfect bitter and creamy. The whipped cream they included on top HAD to have been homemade, it was so creamy and delicious. This is definitely a little gem outside St Louis. Don't walk here, run here!“
“what I'm about to say is long overdue my daughter used to work for alibi cookies on main Street in St Charles she was 16 just getting ready to turn 17 she passed away in a terrible car crash the owner of alibi cookies and his brother went out of their way to our family and lots of ways and to keep our daughters Jaylynns memories alive they are more than a business they care about people and their employees I am thankful to have the honor of knowing them and from the bottom of my heart I thank Alibi cookies for how wonderful they are as human beings as well as business owners I sincerely thank you Henry“
“Keeping in mind that Dierbergs is a little more expensive that it's competitor in the area this store always seems to be clean and well stocked. The employees rate a four out of five, sometimes a three out of find depending on who you have behind the counter and who you get at the cash register. Then again, those are pretty much the only two groups you interact with. The produce is always fresh, the proteins always seemed to be fresh, the deli seems to always be nice. We have an advantage because we live right there pretty much at the corner and it makes Dierbergs a huge convenience. That's about it!“
