We recently discovered this wonderful restaurant. The service is 10/10. The food is fantastic and the restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. This is my 3rd time here and am so impressed that I decided to write a review. The employees work really hard to satisfy the customer and they have done just that. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Terrible and not recommended, I ordered takeout and when I got to the place it turned out that the prices on the website were not what they wanted. Charging you more even for take-out boxes when it is supposed that if it is take-out it has to come in a box or how are they going to give you your food and the boss or owner still gets angry when I told him that he had to respect the prices, it is terrible, he never came back but I leave this so that people know and do not deceive them and be honest, I do not recommend it

Food:Pretty much like el maguey. Staff is hit or miss on service (experience). Everyone seemed friendly though. Clean, normal strip mall restaurant feel. Everyone agreed the food was nothing to write home about. Nachos/ Chimis/ burritos/ quesadillas. On a good note- I've sworn off eating Mexican because of severe heartburn and had to come along- and it wasn't too bad in that respect. The margs were a little watered down w too much ice but I kinda prefer that for the same reason as above. My son is kind of a foodie and he wasn't smiling- although they forgot his order and he waited a long time for it to finally come when we finally asked about it again. Not too busy on a holiday/ Saturday night.
Great value on lunch specials. Chicken fajitas are great.

Ordered nachos supreme. Wasn't expecting too much for a st. Louis area Mexican restaurant. Turned out to be tasty and generous. Highly recommend for yummy Mexican food.

Took a long time to get our drinks and food, the queso dip was not much of an appetizer, they barely had any chorizo or cheese, enough for maybe 2 tortillas. My girlfriend’s burrito plate felt like it was put in the microwave everything was chewy, beans and rice were dry. My carnita plate was also hard and chewy, more onions than meat, beans and rice also dry. My check was almost $70 not worth it at all, horrible food, never going back again. I recommend El Maguey better food and cheaper.
