We sat down and we’re immediately given chips and dip just like every other Mexican restaurant. Our server came by, and seemed high, she could barely open her eyes… and took our drink order, a Cadillac margarita and a peach margarita, and after about fifteen minutes came by and asked if I had ordered strawberry. She had clearly forgotten to put in our drink order and just forgotten what we ordered all together. We waited another 15-20 minutes (I looked at the time stamps on my text messages I sent to be sure) before throwing some money down for the guacamole we ordered and just left. Mind you, our drinks and the guacamole were the only things we were able to order because our server would come by our table exchange either very little or no words and then walk away. Definitely will not be back.

Frustrated to see a 3.5% charge on my bill for using my debit card.
We were very impressed with this restaurant. The food was very good, and they have the best Mexican food menu that we have found since moving to the St. Louis area a year ago. All the standards are on the menu, plus some very nice real Mexican options. The place is not fancy, but it is laid out well, except there is no real waiting area when it is busy. It was very busy both times we went. Service was great with a friendly staff. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. We have had Mexican all over the U.S. and have lived in New Mexico and Texas and have traveled all over Mexico. So we have a broad base for comparison. I would rate the food higher, but I have not tried enough of the menu yet.

best queso i've ever had. TRUE mexican food & the chicken chimichanga is thick and crunchy, unlike anything you've ever had before. a ballwin staple, with true comfort feel good food.

I ordered the beef fajitas. The beef needed more seasoning like garlic powder, onion powder and lime juice. Most of the meat was tender. I had a very friendly young man as my server who did a great job. This is a cozy restaurant at Manchester and New Ballwin. There’s plenty of parking in the lot in front of the restaurant.
