“Fantastic neighborhood dive bar tucked away in a strip mall. A true hidden gem - though beware: it is one of the last refuges for persecuted smokers. The ventilation is decent, so unless you're allergic or sensitive it won't be a problem. Unless you're looking for one.Great service, friendly staff. No food.“
“Love this place! The lady that took our order was helpful and accommodating. I had the new Cookie Butter concrete, it was good. It was very sweet, but that's to be expected. The root beer float was good, but prefer ice cream not custard in it. The Butter Pecan concrete was perfection!“
“This beef and brick sammy was ahhhmazing! The onion rings were made in house and so crunchy and delicious. Been like 30 years since I've been here, will totally be back and make this a go to place. I'm told their breakfast is a big thing too. Sat out on the covered deck and enjoyed the warm weather. Check em out!!“
“We frequent Teleo Coffee with our family after moving to St. Louis. As a European, in my first months living in the US, I visited so many coffee shops where I could feel the cozy atmosphere and smooth, delicious coffee like in my homeland, and I found it here. This place has become like a second home to me, especially thanks to the friendly baristas and owner of the establishment. This is the very moment when you come to this cute house with a huge bright veranda and they greet you and call you by name. They also participate in donations, helping different organizations during certain periods with a small percentage of drink sales, which is amazing!P.S. Barista Sarah recommended the Lavender Vanilla Latte to me on one of my first visits, and I've been kind of addicted to this latte ever since. Highly recommend. Thank you, Sarah!“
“We love their lattes, iced coffees and frappes. For breakfast we love the burrito bowl, bagels or the ham, egg and cheese croissant. We also just recently started buying bags of their Colombian coffee to brew at home. Best. Coffee. Ever. The service is always great too!“
“What a fun steampunk themed place. The copper bar top is a nice aesthetic choice. The beer is varied enough to have something for most beer drinkers. Pair that with a good selection of beer/wine making supplies and a helpful and friendly staff, and you have yourself a winning spot.“
“Such a clever set up for a restaurant! You can order right from your seat online or you can see the counter inside. The food is fast and delicious, and also consistently good unlike some restaurants. We will definitely be back for dinner and drinks.“
“Always friendly staff, recommending different beers. Great atmosphere very laid back. Different events with the brewery are so great for the community with the garlic fest & tomato and the brewery classes. Very well thought out events for kids and adults which is great. The shop is cool if you're into home brewing or no someone who is.“
“Had chicken enchilada soup + walleye fillet for lunchSoup, fish and fries were very good.Went at 1 PM CT and It was not crowded at that timeService was very good and we were promptly served.Overall a very good experience. Thank you.Parking: Plenty of parking spots during lunch time since Dance Academy is not open at that time.“
“Love the Malt Shop and thrilled they have opened for the season! A simple hometown kind of burger and ice cream stand, they serve up a fantastic orange freeze, root beer floats, concretes, sundaes, shakes and tasty apps and burgers. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic and make ordering a breeze once you settle on your delicious choice. There are a couple seats close to the building, but most of the time we eat in the car or take food home. Go and enjoy a refreshing treat or try the pork fritter sandwich. You won't regret it!“
“IMO the premier cigar lounge in the St. Louis area. Amazing selection of classic and boutique cigars with lots of great whiskeys. Just a great, friendly place to unwind, socialize, or watch TV while enjoying a premium stick and a good crafted cocktail.“
“We visited Arch Nemesis Brewery as part of a Brew Hop STL tour and it was great! The beer offerings were solid and the atmosphere was chill with games available for our group. The owner came out to let us sample and talk with us about an exciting experimental brew they are working on! This is definitely a brewery we will be checking in with when we are back in STL next to see what they are working on!“
“Finally made it to Honey Bees for some biscuits and gravy along with a breakfast Sammie. The 2 guys working the counter were warm and welcoming when I walked up. Of course, I wanted to try the biscuits & gravy as it's one of my go tos at any breakfast restaurant. The gravy was very delicious as I selected the classic sausage gravy. The reason I state classic is they have 3 choices of gravy. Yes, you heard me right 3 homemade gravies to select from for your huge biscuits with gravy. Sausage gravy, spicy sausage gravy, or vegan choice mushroom gravy. My only criticism would be to cut the biscuit in half, pour some gravy over it, then put the top back on and pour gravy over the top. The reason I say that is there needs to be more gravy as it's a huge biscuit, and I needed more gravy. Otherwise, it was too much biscuit and not enough gravy. Now they had Sammie, so I definitely had to try one. I selected the egg, cheese, and sausage Sammie. Nuw you get a choice on the type of biscuit for your Sammie. Love that they have different choices on their items. The biscuit choices are honey glazed or Midwest rancher, which is a spicy biscuit. You know me, I had to try the Midwest rancher biscuit. I haven't tried it yet, that will be breakfast or lunch tomorrow. I can tell you ita huge as are all their biscuits. My choice was egg, sausage, and cheese on the Midwest rancher biscuit. I looked at it and really smart the cook the egg in a square shape with great seasoning, sausage patty was big too boot and cheese was nice & fresh not a slice. So tomorrow, I will update you on the Sammie. Prices are definitely reasonable for these huge biscuit dishes, for sure. Also, there is inside or outdoor seating. Nice stop while you're out shopping for a quick bite to eat there or for take home, which was my preference. Need to take my little brother there so he can try out the tasty, delicious, huge biscuits. I really enjoy supporting local businesses for such fabulous homemade dishes.“
“My spouse and I celebrated here. She had the Shrimps and Grits and the Berry Goat cheese salad. I had the Grilled Salmon and Lobster and sausage gumbo. The waitress and the chef were very courteous and pleasant. We had the bread pudding with better pecan ice cream, and the death by chocolate cake and ice cream. It was a blessing?“
“This is an awesome place. Brother in law took us out here, got there right before they closed. It's a nostalgic place, you park and then walk up and order, there are lots of metal benches and tables to enjoy your treat. So creamy and delicious. So many options to choose from!! Will def be coming back.“
“A lovely place. Gives opportunities to those with disabilities. Great for the community. Really nice baked goods as well. Just have to ask to see the tray. Skip Starbucks and give this place a try. Prices are well below avg for market. My order:Iced Mocha 20ozBlueberry muffin - homemadeGooey butter slice - homemadeTotal with tax - under $10“
“Love, Love Cornucopia! Why, you ask? Such a diverse store! They have all kinds of little kitchen gadgets that I never knew I needed until I went into the store to buy coffee...AND... The coffee is much to (not die) but to drink for!!! They have a coffee club that you can join. Great place to spend your time... Oh, and the candles, they are much to (again, not to die) but to smell for! You have to Go and check it out...so fun!“
“This was the best pizza I've had in a while. The crust is what did it for me. A little crisp with some chew. It has flavor by itself, not just a bland base like a lot of places. The toppings were good, too.I had the Philly Cheesesteak and loved it.We had our pies in about 5 minutes, which was great because I can get impatient when I'm hungry.Since there's no dine-in option, we just parked in the big parking lot and had a little impromptu tailgate dinner date.Looking forward to our next visit.“
“Yum! We got two Medium Snowcones $4 each- I had the pina colada and my bf had the banana berry- they were delishhh! Also had to get a $.25 snowball :) We were having a horrible day with a broken down car and came across this little snow cone shop. I wish I would've gotten the kind man's name who was running the shop- thanks for making our day better!“
“This was a good lunch place, but it was a pretty long distance to drive for us. It is in Pond Missouri about 35 minutes away. Good food large menu to pick from. I had the Big Chief burger and homemade chips. That was delicious and served in a basket. The service was great . Had another family member order a rueban sandwich they enjoyed that, too. thought it was tasty.. I would recommend to stop off at Big Chief, maybe on your way to a winery, and make it a day of fun ,food, and drink.Vegetarian options: soups and saladsKid-friendliness: Many kid friendly item like Mac and cheese, chicken fingersWheelchair accessibility: level ground ramps“
“This was my first time at Lefty's and I was not disappointed. My loxs and bagels were one of the most delicious sandwiches I have had in years. The staff here is so helpful that they go above and beyond the definition of the job. Leftys also has a very expensive menu that I am going to go back and try a couple of new dishes. Good luck to Lefty.“
“Got to samples a few beers and got great information from the very knowledgeable and pleasant folks about their brews. The 5 of us shared flash fried Brussel sprouts before I had a hefeweizen and their Irish Red Ale and a yummy salad. Everyone enjoyed their beer and food. Try it folks!!“
“See pictures for 2023 menu and prices -- other pictures and Google's autogenerated menu seem mostly out of date, especially with pricing.Incredible treats galore! This place is absolutely delish. The custard is top notch. My fav is a concrete with malt and Oreo. I have yet to try a cake but will update my review when I do.Family of 3 can expect to pay $15-20.“
“We are having such an awesome time here at Billy G's in Kirkwood! Jackie, our server, was so friendly and so prompt, everything that you would want someone serving you food! Here's a picture of half and I repeat half of the chicken nachos that I had! The rest is gone in my tummy! If, for whatever reason, you have never been here before don't walk but run here it's a great place!“
“Went out of our Box and tried a new place and Wow Glad we did !!! This place is amazing staff is amazing but overwhelmed !!! The food is amazing not one bad choice the Pizza Cosmo chicken amazing the Carolina mustard wing sauce wings not sure you can beat those with the other sauce choices Al's we had S-Stl bread sticks Wow !!! We also tried the Taco Mac really good this is a must in Ellisville you won't be disappointed!!!! Ohh the beer flight is also Great the Pecan Winston's English Brown you gotta try !!!“
“Food was good, pricing was reasonable, great location, service was good. I wish they could buy a couple of high chairs. We came in with a toddler and he had to sit on an adult chair which made it quite difficult and uncomfortable for him to eat, so we had to quickly gobble down our lunch and pack his lunch for him to eat at home. Also, the level of spiciness was MUCH high then I expected. I like spicy food and I'd say I'm above average in terms of tolerance to spiciness, but I ordered a noodle soup at 3 out of 5 level, and it was like eating a bowl of razor blades.“
“We had our mid-winter Model T Ford lunch here. Probably 25-30 folks showed up. They have an area that was able to accommodate us all, and we had great service, even though we were a larger party. The serviced was spot on, drinks came out quickly and the food orders followed close behind. So many different dishes were served and it seemed as though everyone enjoyed the food. They did not seem to mind we sat around for a couple of hours swapping our stories. Another nice thing was they let us have separate checks, which makes for a much easier time for our group. There is more than one location in the area, and we plan on trying a different one next time.“
“Wine was cold, appetizer hot, food plentiful and hot. Service was great. Prices reasonable. Definitely a repeat. Little known gem.Parking: Anyway large strip mallWheelchair accessibility: They have booths or tables with chairs which can be removed and easy seating for wheelchair. No steps“
“After 5 years of moving to Saint Peters we finally found our go-to Chinese takeout restaurant. New owners are friendly, provides excellent service, and serves fantastic food. Lo Mein, Mongolian Pork, fried rice, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup and wontons are just a few things we typically order and have been extremely happy with the food and the service. Thank you!!“
“Wow what a great breakfast anytime restaurant. Pancakes were perfect. They weren't those big doughy ones, these were thin, tasted outstanding, and were the best I've had in years. Ham was high quality and the hash browns were crispy and tasty and also some of the best I've had outside of Waffle House. No wait, I think they were better than Waffle House's (I only care that a restaurant's food taste's delicious!). I wish the eggs were locally sourced through local hen house owners - that would have really set them apart.Everything was outstanding, from the excellent and highly responsive service to the great food.We highly recommend Billy G's and will be enthusiastically looking forward to going there at least once a week. What a meal!“
“Terrible service from EJ. He never checked to see how our food was, not once, after salad or entree. The food was okay. Parmesan would have helped maybe. We had to ask for more water. We had a gift card from our kids to use, but EJ said the internet was down and we couldn't use it. We asked for a manager, and he said he was the manager, which is really surprising considering the lack of service we received. He finally took the gift card off of our bill. He was not a good server or manager in our opinion. Bus boy was pretty good. We would not recommend this place. EJ shouldn't be serving!! We still gave him a 15% tip, which was more than deserved. Usually, we give much more.“
“Went here for a weekday lunch and had a great experience! The food was great bar food- the side salad was huge, husband's burger was great, and pepper jack cheese balls are always a win. The service was fast and friendly, which you don't always get! The perfect lunch stop if you're out visiting the outlet mall.“
“They were a little busy, so the service was just a little slow, but it was such a great atmosphere that it didn’t matter. Food was really good. I’m from out of town, but would definitely go back if I was in the area. It says something about the place when they were busy on a Wednesday evening.“
“I can’t say enough positive things about Andy’s in Kirkwood. Custard is excellent, better priced than its competitors (e.g. St. Louis Frozen Custard; word of advice – don’t EVER go there, unless you’re prepared to deal with entitled teenage attitudes and utter disrespect). In 4 to 5 years of coming to Andy ‘s I have never experienced anything but superior customer service. For example, tonight Will took my order and he could not have been more professional and polite, exactly how I would like my sons to act when they are his age.. It just makes the experience so much more enjoyable when you are dealing with young employees who know how to interact with customers professionally and do their job well. Will was the quintessential example of this. Also, in the four or five years, I’ve been coming here, I can remember only ONE time when my order ended up being incorrect, and that was simply due to a miscommunication. The workers handled it like true professionals, and if I were their boss, I would be so proud. Thanks Andy’s, and keep up the great work! I made the mistake of going to St. Louis frozen custard once the other day, and I will NEVER make that mistake again.“
“This evening was my first time trying Thai Nivas and I will absolutely be back! They have a very big menu. My fiancé and I both enjoyed our meal - we definitely recommend any of the curry. They had 1 server for the whole floor while hosting numerous big groups (including a party of 20+), and still made sure we got our food as efficiently as the kitchen could produce our order.“
“6:00 pm dinner and I was by myself in this newly remodeled diner. 50's style motif with some authentic signage and art. Lovely little diner that is just around the corner. The food is a homestyle country kitchen with the added availability of an alcoholic beverage if you want. Great comfort food at an affordable price.“
“The food and service was great but was upset that we had a pub pass for a free beer and she said the manager said you have to buy one to get one free..the pub pass people said that isn’t correct you should get one free that was the deal…but we did it cause we drive 1/2 hour to get there…but probably won’t do it again.“
“I have stopped here several times to pick up my favorite flavor of custard treat (Jitterbug). I have always been served quickly and the staff has always been friendly and professional. I strongly recommend this place for when you have a craving for ice cream / frozen custard.“
“My friends and I had excellent service and loved the atmosphere. I only remembered to take a picture of my beer flight, but the food we all had we all enjoyed (pretzels, cheese curds, flatbread, wings, and turkey melt).Have already recommended and plan to return again!“
“first time in wildwood pub , and bartenders were AMAZING! Travis and Kamryn were super nice, food service was quick and delicious! The golf bays are awesome, looking forward to coming back to play! Hopefully Kamryn will be working, she is incredible!!!“
“Probably the closest to great Portuguese/African food we'll ever get in St. Louis! Chicken was not dry and had a nice charcoal flavor. Recommend the Medium hot if you want a balance and flavor of just the right amount of spice. Extra Hot was fruity and floral with a very slow burn that will wake you up! Prices are definitely high with the taxes. Be sure to review your receipt carefully. Delicious.“
“Love the donuts, always fresh and quite good. Hours seem to vary and aren’t necessarily updated online. I’ve been there a couple times when Google indicated they’d be open but they were actually closed. Old fashioned are delicious, plain and blueberry!“
“This place is the greatest! We love sitting on the patio in a booth when the weather is just right. Food is pretty good. And portions are HUGE! Service is usually pretty good. I've never had a problem. They are usually crowded on Friday's early evening between 4 and about 8pm.“
“I have gone here my whole life and still love going here. This last time I went the fettuccine was not that great. It had way too much butter and seemed like I could pick the whole bowl up on my fork. The chicken was dried out, either overcooked or had been sitting out awhile. I would still eat here and recommend this place to everyone. Can't wait to see the house dressing sold in stores one day.“
“Nice place with pretty good food, and friendly service. It's kinda hidden behind the rest of the strip mall, and parking might require a bit of a walk, but well worth checking out. I knocked atmosphere down one star because their really cool beer tap was installed right over the bar. I had to eat with my pizza dish resting halfway on the tap drain. This was their 9 in. Harpo's Special, and it was quite good.Parking: They are situated at an inconvenient place in this strip mall, and it can be difficult to find close parking.“
“Been bringing my wife and two little girls ages 3 and 5 here for last couple of yearsUsually it takes a while to get your food but we noticed that’s been common at most of the white castlesHoweverWe came today first time in a whileDrive thru order takenReason for writing a review? This is I believe only my third review I have ever written, you have to do something amazing or horrendous to get me to login and write oneThe gentleman at the drive thru window , tall figure, named Alika (spelling error ? I went back through the drive thru to ask the lady on speaker his name, she said his name is Alika, hopefully that’s correct)Blew us awayThere was a mistake on a drinkWe ordered them with no iceI believe mistake was on my side now that I think about ithe immediately corrected the drinksI was drinking asking under my breath when I asked my Wife if she wants ranch or ketchupShe said no,As he’s handing our food he says “you asked for ketchup and ranch right?” And already had them in the bagAlso this was the fastest rate of service drive thru we have ever received of our years of going to white castles around the countryGreat employee you are all very lucky to have himGod BlessK and Family“
“This restaurant has outstanding Italian cuisine. The food is delicious and its presentation is pretty as well. We went there on a Saturday evening with friends and had to wait around 45 minutes. I don't know if they take reservations in advance. It is well worth the wait though.“
