We love the family cabin, sad they’re not still open for dinner. My favorite is the pancakes, for whatever reason they’re delicious!! My mom loves their omelettes, she says they’re so cheesy. The breakfast sandwich is delicious, but you can’t beat the breakfast special for $8.

The Family Cabin Restaurant is a diner for those seeking nostalgia vibes. The exterior looks like a log cabin. The interior is set-up as a traditional diner with vinyl booths lining the walls. There is a bar with fixed stools. The floor is carpeted and shows a lot of usage.The staff was friendly and very attentive. Our server ensured we never saw the bottom our cups. Plan table conversation time into your schedule. It took 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered.The chicken salad sandwich on the 55+ Senior menu was delicious (10 out of 10). The biscuits and gravy, One egg breakfast, and the Texas style French toast were all average (6 out of 10).People in a wheel chair will need assistance from others. On my way inside it did not seem dark. When I went outside, the overcast sky seemed very bright in contrast.Happy dining.

Great place for breakfast. Very cozy and quaint. I ordered the chicken and waffle. I got a large plate size waffle with 5 to 6 chicken nuggets. I was expecting one piece of chicken instead. The chicken nuggets were ok for a dish of their own but they didn't really paired with the waffle. The waffle was delicious! It was soft and sweet, had a little crunch outside. I ate it without syrup. Service was great. We will definitely try more of their food.
