'The Fred' wasn't busy, so we decided to eat in the restaurant versus The Brick. We sat by the Christmas tree and had a very nice quiet dinner. The decor gives an older vibe closer to the period. I got the Goat Cheese Lasagna, which appeared to be different. It was very good and the sauce had great flavor. Hubbie got the sirloin with veggies. It was cooked medium versus medium rare, but he enjoyed it, and there were no leftovers. Glad we were able to experience the restaurant.
We biked the Katy Trail and arrived here after 60 miles. Thank gawd for the bar:) cause it was glorious. This is a beautiful hotel and cares for the Katy Trail crowd. Dedicated rooms to store your bikes and super awesome people. The restaurant is a excellent.But the coolest part was the basement bar and live music. This and the nice selection of bourbon was the perfect end to a great day!

THE BEST dinner out we have had in well over a year. From service, to price, and flavor, everything was spot-on. I highly recommend trying this one!Just wish they offered larger steaks!
