The food was delicious. For me the beans are a little more bland than I like, but the chimichanga was amazing. The owner needs to work on upkeep a little, some fresh paint would make a world of difference.

Must visit the place. 5 stars for food and 5 stars for a great service. I'm a out of towner and this was my 1st time here. My server treating me as if I was one of their veteran to this place. The asada tacos were so good, I asked 2 more to take it to go.Price is affordable and food is wonderful. Love my server, wish I remember her name, and place was clean. Clean place, greate food, kind server, it's rare to find a place that has all three. I travel a lot from states to states. This is a must visit place.

I've heard nothing but amazing things and always wanted to come here. It lived up to the hype with possibly the best queso I've had in St Louis. The portions are huge as well. I was too hungry for street tacos since I expected the puny ones served everywhere else. The burrito I got instead filled the large plate and was smothered in that amazing queso. My gf got her favorite, al pastor tacos, which it turned out are also enormous. There were big chunks of fresh pineapple and sizable pieces of pork. She could barely finish it all. We were already planning our next visit before we even tasted the food.
Their food was OK. Not "traditional" for Missouri, yet got the job done. If they weren't so close to a chain, El Maguey, they may do better and stand out more. The Gold Margaritas were good and definitely had some tequila in them.Parking: Location is easy to find with ample parking

Cheese dip taste like sausage which I think it's shouldn't have any sausage in it. I got a beef chimichanga which had ground beef and beans in it. Rice and beans were cold I love Mexican this was not it! Service was good

The place was cute. Bathroom was very clean!! The service was ok. My rice was kinda hard. The queso was like water, same with the salsa. The chips were nice and warm. The steak was very good on my tacos but I was charged extra for lettuce and cheese. The cheese I understand but the lettuce? They nickel and dimed you for every little thing. The proportions of my margarita were off too. The guacamole was kinda bland. My husband got the fajitas and he liked them. So it depends on what you get I guess. It was just ok overall.

Very first visual impression wasn't fabulous -- it's not at all fancy -- however very clean and everyone is always very personable. My two favorite every-time menu items: The shrimp (very large) fajitas, cooked and spiced to perfection. Even the side items aren't ordinary. And their dessert -- La Canasta de la Tia -- ice cream in a fried cinnamon flavored basket, is wonderful. Plus, the margaritas are great. This has become our go-to Mexican restaurant. My husband likes the fajitas too but also likes to try other things, all of which has been exceptional, according to him.
