I would absolutely agree with the recognition the locals have given this excellent restaurant. Our meals included the Hot and Sour Soup, the fabulous Shrimp Rangoon, Generals Tso’s Chicken, my favorite the Chop Suey and a dish that only people that have lived in Missouri probably know about, the “Springfield Style Cashew Chicken.”We all ordered Hot and Sour Soup. The waitress asked if we had ever had it here, because it is a “little different” she said. She brought out a sample for us to try. It was different. It was very good, but I would call it Hot and slightly Sweet Soup! The Shrimp Rangoon was the most crispy, delightful wontons we have ever had! The Chop Suey was perfect. The General Tso’s Chicken was a little different. The sauce had some tomato base to it. It was not oily or syrupy, a really nice flavor. Then there was the Springfield Style Cashew Chicken. This Dish originated at Leong's Tea House in Springfield, MO. Instead of stir-fried chicken, it is deep-fried then covered with a sauce made from chicken stock, soy sauce and oyster sauce, topped off with cashews and green onions.Nice, friendly staff providing very good service. This review was previously posted on Yelp by Spike Speedwell

Maybe I just got the wrong thing. General’s chicken was not what I was expecting. Sauce tasted like ketchup, chicken was mostly just breading. Overall flavor was not good. Disappointed because I had high hopes with all the good reviews. Dumplings were fine. Egg roll was decent. Just not the best.

Geniunely the best place to eat in Cape Girardeau. I've lived here for 5 years now and this is my favorite place in the world. Staff are friendly and food is excellent very affordable for the amount of food. I highly reccomend the mongolian chicken combination.

Was very disappointed in my recent order. Seemed like several of the different dishes had the same mix base mix but just different protein. My cashew chicken had peanuts not cashews, and my generals chicken was basically ketchup. Spring rolls were mushy and had a strange consistency. Nothing had any spice or really any flavor. Probably won't be ordering here again. Makes me sad I used to love this place.

Changing from 5 to 1 star. After the new owners, the food isn't good anymore. They went from the best in town to the worst.

Very solid. Basic Chinese American style food...try the bacon fried rice. Food was fresh and hot. Fried items were nice and crispy!
